Tilt Shift is the weirdest setting on a camera. Mine calls it miniature mode which I thnik is more fitting.

With the circle and crossing angles on this shot, it seems to fool the eye into thinking that the frame is not rectangular.
Last Monday 16 November, we welcomed Minister of Finance Johan Van Overtveldt, Mr Bart Buysse (VBO), Mr De Deyn (BBTK-SETCa) , Mr Verstraete (Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick) and Ms Albers (De Tijd) to our “Tax Shifts, lifts and more” event in Brussels.
My first day working with the tilt-shift miniaturization effect, I was able to come up with this. This was a stock photo I had, and was never intended to be shifted, but I think it turned out well regardless. The low angle of this shot, and the people throughout the picture do make achieving a mini-effect difficult, however.

As the title notes, it's my first attempt at creating a fake Tilt Shift photo. The original photo is a fairly grey, not very interesting shot of the city of Melbourne, taken from one of the roofs at RMIT. The walls are the courtyard of the Old Melbourne Gaol.
I must say, the photo is much more appealing this way.
