Torre lateral del Sheraton Lima Hotel & Convention Center

The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, 443 ft of concrete towering above Queen street. Completed in 1972, it was planned as a companion building to Nathan Phillips Square, its design led by John B. Parkin from the local firm that partnered with Viljo Revell for Toronto City Hall.

The Steam Trawler Sheraton was built in 1907 for fishing and was later used for boom defence work during World War I and served as a patrol vessel in WWII, for which she was fitted with a six pounder gun. During a gale in 1947 she broke free of her mooring and drifted onto the beach at Hunstanton. Much of the Sheraton was salvaged but the bottom of the hull remains on the beach in the intertidal zone.

This is the ship wreck of the "Sheraton" on the beach at Hunstanton in Norfolk. No souls were lost as at the end of it's life it was used by the RAF as target practice before it broke away from its moorings in 1947 and drifted onto Hunstanton beach where it has laid ever since.

The wreck of Steam Trawler Sheraton, built in 1907, used for submarine boom defence work in WWI and as an armed as a patrol vessel in WWII. Used as a target hulk in 1947 and washed ashore in a gale.
