Visit Britain shows how, from the 1920s, Shell took the whole of Britain as inspiration for one of its most effective advertising campaigns, effectively encouraging people to get out in their cars and enjoy the pleasures of the countryside.
I thought the oxide would be darker, but I am happy with this result. I used the shell molds to decorate a small plate-coming soon!
I found these at the Sanya Tourist Shell Market.

A friend gave my mother these shells in a bag. She took one of them, pasted it on the cover of this container and put the rest of shells inside it. Now they're an ornament for the room. You are great, mum ♥

It was my sons idea to take this shot and I have to agree I really like it. To me it is so relaxing, you can see just a touch of the sunset coloring in the sand. Thank DugJax for the pics name :)

When I was out for a walk last weekend I found a big pile of empty snail shells.Some bird had had a good feast!
Anyway I took some home for my "things to photograph" collection
These are TINY shells from Australia. I love them!
Experiment - I might have to do this over again, as it is bugging me at the already!
