This was from the Artliftment Park Jam which was set up to repaint and uplift a really rundown park called Searle Street Park in Woodstock. The event was hosted by Painting The Town and Shelflife Street Store and was super well organized. It was by far one of the biggest and best jams Cape Town has ever seen, hosting over 30 writers in one jam with linked up colour schemes etc etc so hats off to the organizers! The only bummer was the insane wind on the day of the event but people stuck out regardless which shows CT's determination to rock walls!
We're all still waiting for the final link ups of the jam which I will post as soon as they appear..
Here's a shirt I did design for my mates over at Shelflife. Im pleased as punch with the quality of the prints and apparently these have been selling before they hit the shelves :D
Thank you, in advance, to those of you who take a moment to leave a comment and/or fave my photo. I appreciate it tremendously.
This kitten belongs to my brother and sister-in-law. Maggie is about seven months old now and I'm pretty sure she sneaks out of the house before everybody wakes up and drinks a couple of large coffees before returning. She has enough energy throughout the day to make the Energizer Bunny appear lethargic.
I've discovered that if I'm interested in getting a photo of her that isn't blurred, it's important to play with her until she's very, very tired.
My many books, my many friends. They take me out of myself - they help, they listen.
(The doctor who book is on loan from my nephew - still haven't read it yet.)
This image has been pikniked.

As is the case with cookies, in life when you're left on the shelf for too long, you loose your freshness. And just as you would throw the stale cookies out and bake another batch the same can apply to life.
If you are feeling a bit down and without your usual "crispiness" maybe its time you start over, pick up some fresh ingredients from the store, and whip up that famous recipe of yours. If you pour a whole lot of love into the batter, am sure this batch will be even better than the last.

Milk that expires on Christmas. How about that...
The mini-mart's subtle way of letting you know there's not a lot of time left before Christmas!!

These are MY toys. The grandchildren can only play with them if they ask and with supervision. I am going to take most of them down for Christmas....yikes it is traumatic
"Beatrix Potter was an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist best known for her children's books featuring animals, such as those in The Tale of Peter Rabbit."
I grew up reading the tales of Beatrix Potter and I read them often to my children and recently to my grandchildren.
My personal favourites are: The tale of Samuel Whiskers, The tale of Tom Kitten and The tale of Ginger and Pickles.

Honey has an eternal shelflife, given that it is well-sealed. Archeologists have found perfectly preserved honey in ancient tombs. Honey will only spoil when something perishable is introduced to it.
This is one of the designs included in my Valentine's series. Find stickers & cards with this design on my Etsy.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
It's only been on the shelf for a few weeks, and the supply is already almost totally wiped out. :^[ I'd better get on this.
Mucking around with the Mamiya C3 instead of making pots. Currently in covid lockdown I am disheartened and have lost my 'mojo' for making more pots to fill my shelves. Many shows are 'postponed' (aka cancelled) and I have had to close my studio doors to the public. But, at least for now with film, I can turn a negative into a positive!
