Shelby Shifter power idles in track 6 as morning fog from the Levisa Fork River looms over the west end of Shelby Yard. The R240 is sitting over on track 7 with a cut of storage empties pulled from Esco the week prior, re-entering service.

I rolled back into Shelby in the later afternoon and saw a set of headlights towards the east end of the yard that looked like the local power for Shelby. I set up shop near the west end of the yard, with a nice way to end the day shooting BNSF 1985 on point.

A few weeks ago I posted a picture of this car asking what it was. The popular and correct answer was the Shelby. I can't locate the owner but apparently this has been here a long time, used as a plaything for Children.

CSX 8054 puts in some work as it hauls a loaded ballast train at speed through downtown Shelby, OH on the Mt. Victory Sub towards Crestline. This was one of those trains where video was better than photo. That 645 was really singing.
