Hello Flickr World,
My name is Christian Stops grizzleur, I'm a (street) photographer from Germany. I've set up this account to posthumously publish the photography of Roswitha Schmidt-Sesterhenn (1940-2009).
Roswitha was a keen nature and landscape photographer from near Freiburg and she took pictures almost exclusively in the Black Forest.
I finished up my vintage sheet quilt this afternoon. I am so happy with how it turned out. It's super soft! It will help keep things cheery through the cold gray Ohio winter!
This pattern is Sparkling Cider by All Washed Up. It's 64"x80", the perfect snuggle size! I used all vintage sheets including the neutral used for the stars, the whole sheet backing, and the pieced binding.
A bed sheet being used as a temporary window drape. The dark lines were caused by Venetian blinds back lit by morning sun. My intent was to control the DoF.
I saved the Image at this stage before all the roots went on. Right now its just curve adjustment masks on Metal texture.
That's right, I was desperate for a picture. It's raining sheets outside right now so didn't really feel like getting my stuff wet. Started messing around with photoshop on another picture but couldn't get it right so, what to do. Of course, the booze cabinet must be a good place to start. I'm no scotch connoisseur but I do know that this 12 year old Glenlivet is nothing special. I received this bottle 8 years ago as a gift from one of my suppliers. Needless to say, it's barely been touched. A few years back, I decided that I'd learn about Scotch so I bought a single malt Balvenie. It was pretty good but it's still scotch. Once, I actually tried a bunnahabhain (www.bunnahabhain.com/) which I fell in love with, but unfortunately, nobody in Canada sells it anymore. The LCBO stopped carrying it. If anybody can help me find some, it would be greatly appreciated. Anyways, I want to head over to Scotland next year for a few things...1. photograph the countryside, 2. learn about scotch.
Back to this picture, well, it's a picture of scotch. I actually indulged in it after my shoot. Now, I'm tired, yawning and feel like I've been sucking on a burnt wooden barrel soaked in mossy water....wait, that's scotch. Have a good night.

We have a lot of sheet music at home. Some are from my childhood and some has been gifted to my youngest son who is rather musical. This particular piece of music is from a Mozart opera. I didn’t know we had it until I looked through the stack that was gifted to Ethan. It looks fun to play although I doubt I can get up to speed.
"Oh, those lips! Oh, those eyes! Oh, can't you see? She just the kind of a girl you'd like your girl to be."
"If I didn't know your husband, and you didn't know my wife, we'd get along together—just like a drum and fife."
