Sneaking up on a sleeping sheep, I was quite proud of myself :)
It does look like the sheep was annoyed with me
The easing of the lock down rules here in France has coincided with some decidedly autumnal feeling weather. This picture was taken between rain showers and before the sheep got totally engulfed in the mist. Still it is nice to be able to walk without needing to remember your paper declaration anymore or watch the clock for when the hour is up.
I very rarely photograph 'non-wildlife' but I'm more than happy to make an exception for Herdwick Sheep, especially when they decided to 'photobomb' my morning at Buttermere in the Lake District!

Found this one in a garden in Germany. There aren't many garden ornaments where I live.
Three sheep enjoying life: after lunch party on a terrace with a scenic view over the Uttakleiv beach ☺ (Lofoten, Norway)
But the sheep were showing little interest in 60076 as the 6D50 1024 Hull Dairycoates Tilcon Gbrf to Rylstone Tilcon (Gbrf) creeps around the bends north of Skipton on the Rylstone branch. 12-12-24.

Passing thru Gardner, Colorado, we drive and drive but don't seem to be getting any closer. It is amazing how the mountains are vast and scattered about and are so far away but seem so close.
Sheep Mountain and Little Sheep Mountain are neighbors, this is Little Sheep, elevation 9,600 ft with a Grand Dike and forest skirting its leading edge. It's hard to grasp the scale of this rock. The log cabin and fencing in the FG, as well as the forest trees leading up to the Dike are all much taller than a human.

Our neighbors on the other side of the fence had a couple of new lambs. Both are so cute. This one was deciding if that leafy thing would be tasty. It is nice that the sheep are getting used to us now and not running away when I approach the fence to take photos. I love seeing them out there.

This young foal was with his mum in a field full of sheep. He had great fun chasing them around on a very dull miserable day!
