This building collapsed in the winter of 2008. We had several feet of snow. Thanks for the generous comments.

An unseen shot from the 2014 archives catches Colas Shed 66847 passing through the city of Chester and crossing the Shropshire Union Canal one fine summer evening with the 12.02 Carlisle - Chirk Kronospan (6J37) logs.
This loco was a regular runner on this train at the time and, while Colas still have the contract, these days it's invariably hauled by class 60 Tugs.

With conversation temporarily suspended, a pair of old-hand train crew can't help but get drawn to the sight (and the sound) of GB Railfreight 'Shed' 66708 rumbling through the centre of Leeds station with the 9.53am Hunslet Tilcon - Arrow Quarry (6M31) discharged hoppers.
Their fascination is perhaps no surprise either - heck, after more than 50 years of watching freight trains even I still get mesmerised by this stuff!
Not a rail photography trip today but rather a social visit to meet up with an old college mate for a bite to eat. I pocketed the little Sony, just in case, and got lucky with timings as well as the gap in the cloud.
I've left the tones a little dark to retain the richness.

The light can be really beautiful this time of year, creating pastel like color tones.
Ust in Trondheim, Norway.
Rain and dull light made it difficult to find any motive along the river. On the way back to the car I had to make my way along this wall.
Out with Iain and Russell (McRusty) today in search of some Autumn colour. Just along from Feshie Bridge we 'lost' Russell somewhere along the Sculpture Trail and stumbled across this old shed/workshop whilst trying to find him. The shed was well past its best but surrounded by some lovely colour.
A weathered old shed at my favorite nursery...you can also find the best tomatoes, peaches and sweet corn there. It’s run by several of the friendliest country seniors you’ve ever met....
On Route 64 leading to the Grand Canyon, South Rim in Arizona, USA. It is the beginning on the Grand Canyon where the Colorado River begins to erode the wall of the Marble Canyon area.
Finding it hard to get these the way I would like them . I don't have Photoshop or Lightroom so its very difficult to get the full Infrared effect. My only editing tools are an old version of ACDsee pro 3 and Paint shop pro 3. I did try to learn Photoshop once on my own a few years ago but couldn't understand it I think I needed a tutor .
