I'm still walking every day and this little homestead is one of my favorite places that I pass along the way. I always pause to see what the sheep. chickens and geese are doing. This little red shed always acts as the focal point to the landscape.

An old weathered shed surrounded by colorful autumn foliage was just begging to have it's picture taken.
Somewhere outside of Calgary, in Alberta, Canada.

I'm running through the fields
Laughing, dreaming
I'm driving through the mountains
Breathing a new life
I don't mind what people say
No, I won't look back for another day
Gonna shed my skin and walk away
I'm floating through the river
Twisting and turning
Running through the sands
Searching for a new life
I don't mind what people say
No, I won't look back for another day
Gonna shed my skin and walk away
I don't mind what people say
No, I won't look back for another day
Gonna shed my skin and walk away
I don't mind what people say
No, I won't look back for another day
Gonna shed my skin and walk away
Miracle has found a new spot for her spring shedding of white hairs!! DD assured me that she had curried her the day before.

I guess this could be a small house, but the shovels hanging on the wall just scream shed. If it were a house, I think it would have been connected to the power lines which run right along side it. Besides the foundation is a bit ‘iffy’ for a house. I like the weathered wood which has almost been bleached white by the sun. It is in a nice setting too. If anyone wants a winter project, I can put you In touch with the owner.
Did you notice there are power lines and vines in this picture?

Just a little texture for this Tuesday. This is what happens when I get bored...I walk around my yard looking for stuff to photograph.
Pyengana is a beautiful valley with its own microclimate. It is surrounded by temperate rainforests, rivers and some lovely waterfalls. It is also one of the richest dairy farming regions in Tasmania. This old shed comes up well in the duotones of unconverted infra red.
