In 1783 the first hot air ballon lunched. However it was not until 1793 that first post set off. It is reported one was in the French Revolution and the other carried a letter to George Washington in the US (not overseas, supposedly;-).
#SheMeansBusiness Fireside Chat (Episode #)
The USAID Small and Medium Enterprise Activity (#SMEA), in partnership with Facebook, has been implementing its #SheMeanBusiness training initiative in Pakistan. These trainings focus on improving the uptake of Facebook owned platforms (Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram) to help boost the online presence and sales for small women-owned businesses. This partnership is based on leveraging private sector engagement to provide free trainings on online marketing by Facebook Certified Trainers and to support women-led businesses that are struggling to market themselves to the right target audience. The long-term aim is to enhance the capacity of these entrepreneurs to use contemporary marketing strategies which have become increasingly relevant during COVID-19, rather than traditional techniques. Through the Fireside Chat series, women entrepreneurs speak about their entrepreneurial journeys, successes, and how these trainings have helped them innovate, adapt, and grow.
#DidYouKnow that USAID’s Small and Medium Enterprise Activity (#SMEA) partnered with Facebook to provide #SheMeansBusiness trainings to women entrepreneurs in Pakistan? Here’s the first of a series of three Fireside Chat videos developed by Facebook to highlight the impact of these trainings. Meet Nida Jaffrey from Nashtay Walay in today’s episode!

I was standing with Bryan, Jon, and Marvin while they waited to get their breakfast. How, I ask you, HOW could I not photograph this woman? Wherever and whoever you may be, lady, you are awesome.
