The Goal was to combine the Flickr Fridays Theme and Macro Mondays in one shot.
Flicker Mondays theme is shadows. Where there is no need, to include the object itself. Macro Fridays, war redo, like repeat or do it again. And for Macro Mondays there are size restrictions, too. Maximum size of 75 mm or 3 “.
Anyway, all these pictures include shadows and repeated pattern. Therefore, photos were made with two different sizes of forks, smaller one and larger one. Started with 5 of larger onces and then reduced to 4, 3, 2 and one, and repeat with the smaller once. And partly, just for fun a caliper was include to measure the size of the shadows. In Total approx. 30 pictures,
As for the making of, these photos, sometimes in the afternoon, on a black plate of slate, normally used as coaster at my dining table or the balcony table

Lock 20 and Lockhouse Number 12 in the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historic Park. The lockhouse is called the Great Falls Tavern. It was built in 1828. It now serves as a visitors center. Some of the lockhouses on the C&O Canal can be rented. Part of the towpath can be seen on the left. It's great for hiking, jogging, biking or a nature walk. There are several hiking trails here with available maps. A common cycling trip is from Pittsburg to Washington via bicycling. This is also part of Great Falls National Park on the Maryland side of the Potomac River. Shot with Rokinon Lens 12mm F/2.0 with camera set to lens off. In this photo, there is somehow space between the caliper and the shadows. Caliper is set to 60 mm, with 8 tines within the caliper, 2 2/3 of 3 forks and another tine of a forth fork to the right. On top some reflection and light pattern, where the sun is reflecting at the tips of the tines into the macro objective producing some lense flare.

Seit Jahren begleite ich immer wieder mal meine Tochter mit der Kamera. Anfangs sollte ich ihre Schleich-Tiere ins rechte Licht rücken. Schnell kamen Kostüme / Verkleidungen dazu. Daraus wurden vorsichtige Cosplay-Rollen. Immer machte sie die Accessoires dazu selbst. Auch heute noch. Nur wenn die selbst entworfenen Sachen sich zu sehr von dem Gewünschten unterscheiden, greift sie zum Onlineversand. In zwei Wochen will sie mit mir Bilder machen. Natürlich muss sie sich mit ihrem Cosplay auseinandersetzen und probieren, ob alles sitzt und klappt. Dazu habe ich sie "als Test" schon mal in ihrem Zimmer fotografiert. Auch sie muss wissen, wie sie auf Fotos wirkt. Immerhin sind die Schleich-Tier-Tage vorbei.

Sieht aus, als hätte Mini die Ostsee schon wieder komplett vergessen. Kein Wunder, wo das Wetter besser und besser wird. Also ging er heute raus und spielte stundenlang. Wir haben nicht viel von ihm gesehen. Als die Sonne unterging, schaute ich nach Mini und sah ihn dieses Kinderspiel spielen. Ich weiß nicht, wie es heißt, aber es sah so süß aus, dass ich einfach ein Bild machen musste.
Seems like Mini completly forgot about the baltic sea. With the weather getting better and better it's no wonder! So today he went out out and played for hours. We didn't see much of him. When the sun went down, I looked for Mini and saw him playing this nice childrens' game. I don't know the name of it but it looked so sweet I had to take a photo.
Mission Espada on the Mission Trail National Historic Park in San Antonio, Texas. Its original name was San Francisco de los Tejas.
It was relocated and renamed San Francisco de la Espada in 1731. This is one of five missions located on the Mission Trail National Park. They are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
