Don't let your wife loose in the kitchen with a sharp knife and your camera equipment or this could be the result!!!!!!
Although Momma Turkey is not the "sharpest knife in the drawer" , she does her best to teach the chicks how to look for food. It seems late in the year for new chicks , but maybe we will have a late fall.

Another food shot for tonight...I have now run out of fruit....so made use of the OH chopping the Spring Onions to dress up the Chicken noodle tea.
Thanks as always for views, comments and faves all are very much appreciated :)
ODC - "seven deadly sins"
Gluttony - waaay too many butterscotch chips for one person to eat at one sitting
Envy - surely we can all relate to this one...ever noticed how often others will use the same thing but just tweak it enough to call it different? Remember those "copy cats" in school? Yeah...if you were the cool kid, it happened all the time.
Wrath - violence, hatred, anger, intentional hurt of something or someone
Lust - Yep, you did it, Eve...thanks a lot.
Pride - Aaaah, surely we all have had experience with this, too. Hmmm...is it really about you? All the time? Your way or the wrong way? Your way or the highway?
Greed - Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too? My, this cake looked much better before I let it get room temperature. Didn't know it was going to "melt"...
Sloth - Well, this is something I have a real problem doing. I hate making the bed. I love sleeping and leaving the bed turned down and unmade makes it very easy for a quick nap.
Hope you all enjoy this...it TOOK ME FOREVER!! Oh and don't criticize on the Photoshop...I am hard-headed and want to teach myself. Though I have classes and the manual, well, not so much. I don't like directions.
This was a 6-day paddle down the Green & then up the Colorado River (~110 mile total). I went with a group of friends/paddlers from Texas; we launched on Saturday, May 3, 2003, a bit over a day since Aron Ralston had been rescued after being trapped by a falling bolder & had to cut his own arm off with a dull pocket knife to free himself (which became the movie "127 Hours" & which is why I always carry a sharp knife). The story had just made that morning's Moab newspaper & the guy who was shuttling us speculated that he was from an "I" state (Indiana, Iowa, Illinois); he told us about a term locals used, "I State Syndrome", which referred to people from those states coming here, getting in trouble & sometimes dying, because they're not used to the terrain, weather, & elevation extremes in this area; I checked & Mr. Ralston was not from an I state.
The biggest chicken fried steak I will ever eat resting on top of a bed of hash browns and served with 2 eggs over easy and. white toast.

Been a cooking show fan for years and when I saw this knife for sale I grabbed it. It's one of Ming's (Cooking With Ming) products. This little knife is extremely sharp and cuts through things with such ease. All good cooks know that a sharp knife is #1 in the kitchen!
After supper, my wife baked a banana bread. Here it is after we each sampled a piece, fresh from the oven.

This image is from YouTube. l am very wary of using a sharp knife like this, because I always cut myself!
A Bing search on "Seville Orange Marmalade" turned up lots of great pictures, videos, and recipes. This is one of many delightful videos on You Tube showing how to make Seville Orange Marmalade.
