This collection presents a breathtaking cinematic journey through the avian world, capturing the raw essence of diverse species in their most iconic states. From the powerful, sun-drenched silhouette of a golden eagle perched in the highlands to the serene, minimalist grace of a grey heron standing in a morning mist, each image is a masterclass in light, texture, and composition.
The series explores various habitats: the dramatic snowy peaks where raptors soar, the tranquil pink-hued wetlands of wading flamingos, the intricate stick-nests of urban storks, and even the clandestine world of a peregrine falcon overlooking a bokeh-filled city night. Every feather is rendered with hyper-realistic precision, emphasizing the bridge between high-end wildlife photography and the limitless possibilities of digital creation. This portfolio serves as a visual tribute to biodiversity, stillness, and the predatory elegance of birds.

The Milky Way is the name of our galaxy. There is just one of these and hence not many others have been spotted. There a lot of other galaxies out there in the Universe numbering in the billions but there's just one Galaxy known as the Milky Way. It is well known to us because it contains the solar system. The term Milky Way comes from the Latin word "Via Lactia" which was derived from the Greek word "Galaxias" meaning "the Galaxy".
The Milky Way has between two hundred to four hundred billion stars. The Milky Way is over thirteen and a half billion years old. The Universe is also approximately the same age. Just like the earth revolves around the sun, similarly our solar system also revolves around the centre of the Milky Way. It takes around 225-220 million years for the solar system to complete each orbit.

"In art history the great masters of canvas used charcoal and oils to bring their portraits to life.
Today the pencil is the foundation of art drawing as it provides a quick and more direct link to an artists’ creative process.
Many artists refer to pencil drawing as ‘knitting', this process refers to where both vision and ideas are drawn out of the unconscious mind and knitted together into a cohesive unit to create the final artwork.
I guess I have a daily 'knitting hobby' in common with my grandmother, she would say that I got it from her ;-)" ~Tomitheos

Northern Cardinal male and female at feeding station in snow. Describing these type of images as being difficult somehow does not do justice to how difficult. It took several years of preparation to recognize the possibility, and then have the equipment and skills and training ( self-training in this case). You could probably do this with a movie camera or camcorder, but the quality will not be adequate to make big prints.

Cucumber juice is a very healthy and versatile drink. Cucumbers have a high content of water and contain noteworthy amounts of potassium, silica, vitamin A, vitamin C, folate, and chlorophyll, among other nutrients. Many people add cucumber juice to their diets to improve the quality of their skin, nails, and hair, and when consumed regularly, the drink can help treat high blood pressure and kidney stones. Cucumber juice can be prepared straight, with nothing but cucumbers, or you can blend it with sweeteners and other juices for extra flavor.

Biscotti, more correctly known as biscotti di Prato (English: Prato biscuits), also known as cantuccini (English: little slices), are twice-baked biscuits originating in the Italian city of Prato. The biscuits are oblong-shaped almond biscuits, made dry and crunchy through cutting the loaf of dough while still hot and fresh from baking in the oven.

Ovid provides two etymologies for June's name in his poem concerning the months entitled the Fasti. The first is that the month is named after the Roman goddess Juno, wife of Jupiter and equivalent to the Greek goddess Hera, the second is that the name comes from the Latin word iuniores, meaning "younger ones," as opposed to maiores ("elders") for which the preceding month May may be named (Fasti VI.1–88).
