Corniche Al Buhaira is a narrow strip of land around Khalid Lake featuring residential complexes, resorts, parks, supermarkets and restaurants. The area is ideal for residential and commercial purposes and is one of its kind in Sharjah. It is surrounded by some well-known landmarks including Al Majaz Waterfront. Also, Corniche Al Buhaira is popular for renting commercial and residential properties in Sharjah.

ortress is part of a heritage village nestled deep in the mountains. A 300-year-old fortress in Khor Fakkan is often referred to as one of the UAE's hidden gems.
Today we went to Al Ittihad Square Park at Sharjah for a meet-and-greet with fellow Bengali's in UAE. This is located at Sharjah's Corniche, i.e. seafront, and is a lively place especially in the evening. Families of all nationalities flock to this park with portable chairs, snacks and even full blown barbecue equipment and dinner. Nearby was the local mosque that was lit brilliantly at night. Fortunately, I was carrying all my camera equipment, including the tripod for night-time long-exposure shots. I set up my equipment and took this shot that embodies a little bit of Sharjah at night, a city that revels in good cheer and social life amongst beautiful Islamic cultural artifacts and art.
