This snake was near the top of Bear Peak. I didn't think snakes lived at that elevation (approx. 8700 feet above sea level).

On Tuesday 20 October 2015, the SHARE Network and the EU's Committee of the Regions organized a conference titled “Protecting and Welcoming Refugees in Europe: responding to an unprecedented refugee crisis”. The conference was also an occasion to discuss experiences and lessons learnt about resettlement and integration of refugees in Europe during the three years since the SHARE Network was established.

The upper shots were mine, the lower shots belong to another gal who was nailing it!
We were sharing the target so no one went for the bull's eye. We prefer to cluster. :)
This was a Glock 17 9mm.

On one of our trips to the creek this week, we brought Fender's new fish toy. It's a blue rubber-like fish that floats in the water. He really has a blast with it (once he got the idea anyways)... On the way back he wanted to carry it, but then he we would drop it so we would have to pick it up, but once we picked it up, he wanted to play with us with it... We soon figured out that he was playing us, lol... And him and Luke played the whole way back to the car... At one point Luke just wanted to walk and Fender thought he should help Luke hold the fish... So for a solid 2 or 3 minutes he trotted next to Luke with the fish half in his mouth and half in Luke's hand... I just had to capture it.
This was a contestant for the challenge, but I just didn't like it as much as the shot I took that wasn't for the challenge, go figure.

Spreading the cheer, many of the balloons ended up attached to dividers around the office. Kinda cheery actually.
Through sharing blooms the
blossom of love and caring.
Our heart dances with joy,
mind dwells with pride.
There is no sacrifice greater
then sharing, for it pleases
our Lord above.
Opens all gates of rejoicing bliss
here on earth and above, for,
through sharing blooms the
blossom of love and caring.
