Jaisalmer Fort is situated in the city of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India. It is one of the very few (perhaps the only) “living forts” in the world, as nearly one fourth of the old city's population still resides within the fort. Many rooftops near the edges of the fort are turned into cafes and restaurants to cater to the tourist trade. For the better part of its 800-year history, the fort was the city of Jaisalmer. The city was also at the crossroads of important trade routes, including the nearly mythical Silk Road.

This part of the model is about the Chicago "L". The oldest sections of the elevated train started operations in 1892, making it the second-oldest rapid transit system in the Americas, after New York City's elevated lines.

The "L" has been credited with fostering the growth of Chicago's dense city core that is one of the city's distinguishing features. It consists of eight rapid transit lines laid out in a spoke–hub distribution paradigm focusing transit towards the Loop.

Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s most impressive attractions. This greenhouse-like glass dome is climate-controlled and has spiralling walkways surrounding the Cloud Forest mountain.

Singapore is a hot and humid country year-round, so a visit here is a great way to cool off. Temperatures inside Cloud Forest are kept low to replicate the moist, damp conditions found on misty tropical mountains from 900 to 2,700 meters above sea level, where dragons reside.

The Dhammayazika Pagoda Temple lies in the plains of Bagan, Myanmar, where there still remains about 2000 temples & pagodas. Completed in 1198, it took only two years to build despite its massive size, and consumed around 6 million bricks. After centuries of neglect and decay, the temple was finally renovated in the 80's.

Bagan lies in the middle of the "dry zone" of Burma getting very little precipitation as it is sheltered from the rain by the Rakhine Yoma mountain range. While we were there though, it rained almost continuously for 2 days, bringing out the beautiful colors of the landscape, vegetation and architecture.

Many pagodas and temples were built at the top of the hilly landscape of Mrauk-U, Rakhine State, Myanmar. They were built from 1430 until 1785 and are remnants of the Mrauk-U Kingdom, the most important and powerful of the larger Rakhine (Arakanese) kingdom.

In 2017, an international commission urged Myanmar to nominate Mrauk U for UNESCO World Heritage Site status. The proposal is backed by Kofi Annan and archaeologists are now cataloguing and protecting the city's many sites in preparation for nomination.

The Sanskrit terms sādhu ("good man") and sādhvī ("good woman") refer to renouncers who have chosen to live lives apart from or on the edges of society to focus on their own spiritual practices. It is not meant to be an easy path. They generally walk or travel over distant places, homeless, visiting temples and pilgrimage centers as a part of their spiritual practice.

There are 4 to 5 million sadhus in India today and they are widely respected for their holiness. It is considered that the austere practices of the sadhus help to burn off their karma and that of the community at large. Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
