Instructions
Preparation
Lie on back with both hands around one knee.
Execution
Pull the knee towards the opposite shoulder pushing the neck down to the mat and keep the spine neutral. Relax the opposite leg.
Variation
Sitting - From a sitting position, bend both knees and place the outside of one ankle on the opposite knee. Push to a higher sitting position to get more stretch.

Preparation
Lie on back and grasp one leg behind the knee with both hands.
Execution
Pull knee toward the chest keeping the other relaxed leg and on the floor. Push neck down and try to keep spine neutral.
Variation
Pull knee towards the chest and straighten the leg.

Preparation
Kneel on a mat place the front knee at 90 degrees and both hand on the knee.
Execution
With the back straight rotate the pelvis forward by tucking the abdomen in and squeezing the gluteus (buttocks)
Variation
Place the front foot ahead of the knee.

Preparation
Stand with one hand against the wall and grasp the in-step of the other foot with the other hand.
Execution
Pull the heel towards the buttocks, keeping the back straight, knees together and in line.
Variation
Lying - Lie on side with one hand under head and do as above.

Preparation
Extend arm and position on a fixed structure at shoulder height.
Execution
Turn body away from positioned arm.
Variation 1
A lower elbow position stretches more upper chest and higher elbow position stretches lower chest.
Variation 2
Place the forearm on the fixed structure with elbow bent to 90 degrees.

Instructions
Preparation
Place the arm high across the chest and hold with other hand.
Execution
Relax shoulder and pull arm toward you.
Variation
Hold a fixed structure with arm extended in front of the shoulder. Pull back gently to stretch keeping the back straight, rotating the hips towards the extended arm.
I can vividly remember this trip across the Leechburg, PA bridge with my Mom. I can't recall why we were walking across the bridge, but we did. My "Shape Up" shirt rocks! You can also see a sliver clip on my navy shorts. I remember fidgeting with that clip.
I have already reached the age that a person’s metabolism really slows down and the body gains a lot of weight. And for someone like me who works in the office with ass flat on the ergo chair eight hours a day, would really mean piling up millions and billions of calories that can’t hardly wait to turn into lard. Hehe!!
So yesterday, I did some stretching, grabbed a racket and hit the badminton hardcourt!! WooohooO!!
and oh, took some photos too!! =)
I'm sorry, but I have a hard time believing all of Skechers' claims. Promotes weight loss? Improves blood circulation? Tightens ab muscles and others? They're sneakers, not a personal trainer. Sure, they might be more beneficial to your posture than walking in flat sandals, but this is still highly misleading to the more gullible consumer.
This conference I attended yesterday was about getting the city of San Francisco in shape.
What I don't get is those that didn't get sit down on the reserved tables, were given apples on their chair.
Who would eat an apple that have been sitting on a chair that people have put their buttocks on??
Master the art.

Preparation
Lie on back place hands behind head bend hips and knees bent to 90 degrees.
Execution
Roll knees over to ground keeping them together with the upper knee over the lower knee.
Variation
Roll one knee over to the ground and pull down gently with one hand. Leave the other leg relaxed and on the ground.

Place hands on wall with one leg to the rear. Feet parallel.
Execution
Straighten the rear leg pushing the heal to the ground, bending the front leg.
Variation
Turn heal of the rear foot out slightly.
