This old fence is is still functional, but bent out of shape in places. Happy Fence Friday!

A swathe of bird netting billowing in the wind at the Pet Supplies store.

Screw clasp on a jade bangle. From last week's Macro Monday topic "Periodic Table".

'Fluffy" doing what he loves doing to start his day, a nice mini-sandwich. The big stare-down continues as he rests on top of the fence post.

A creative artistic version of a daylily in full bloom.

A column of hefty concrete bollards capped with metal, in the carpark behind the Goodwood Library.

Daylily just after the much needed rain stopped.

Looks like a new kid (a. k.a. squirrel) on the block (backyard deck) ... This black-brownish coloured squirrel is a new visitor to our backyard. I guess the word is out "mini-sandwich treats still available today" ...

This somewhat cute not so little guy is doing what rabbits like to do "eat your beautiful flowers from the garden' ... Enjoy.

Small pink flowers much like the caps worn by pixies and fairies in the illustrated Enid Blyton books I used to read in my childhood.

Side-lit cyclamen. Photo No. 3 of Project No, 3 in 2023 - A simple palette of two or three colours (against black background where appropriate).

An corrugated iron fence that angles down at the street end, meeting up with the panel added to cancel the lowered height.

🎶 I'm a little teapot,

Short and stout,

Here is my handle

Here is my spout

When I get all steamed up,

Hear me shout,

Tip me over and pour me out! 🎶

Another shallow DOF shot..very subtle colouring...very little processing again.

Somethings got her attention?

OK, let's all look up ... Nothing that I can see.

Little miss Robin has got something on her mind.

Hi there,

This week's theme for Macro Mondays is "Mesh." My macro is of a mesh bath sponge. HMM!

Thank you for viewing this image and for leaving me a comment! Have a wonderful day and week!

Looks a little apprehensive "Somethings got his attention"

No the dogs are not out. Is it some of his buddies approaching.

Let's wait and see, or not ...

I truly like it when a theme is perfect for my props. Although I did have have to search a little bit for them.

Happy Macro Mondays

First one to bloom-partially opened up this morning.

A few more buds will be opening up very soon.

Clematis is a genus of about 380 species within the buttercup family, Ranunculaceae.

Hello There!

Even though they weren't fully ripe, I liked the colours of these berries. I spotted them on a neighbourhood walk this past summer.

Thanks a million for stopping by and for leaving a comment. I do love hearing from you! Have a marvelous day!

Well, Well what do we have here?

The big stare-down again?

OK, who's going to flinch first?

Buddy I can see the mini-sandwich treats you put out for me so go back inside the house and let me get them.

You know what happens next?

My little buddy is now on the deck enjoying his treats!

End of Story ...

Shallow depth of field (f/3.0) for the group Crazy Tuesday!'s theme. I might have posted earlier, but every camera's card and reader seem to change for some reason. The PC suddenly rebooted. I tried the Mac with no results.

What seemed effortless and joyful last night today meant calling in the IT expert, my husband.

Thanks for looking.

Sheltering at home. Waiting to vote...

A sneak attack? ... A quick full stretch and bingo he's got the prize. No that's not the end to this mornings story ... As quick as he appeared, he turned around and with his prize I heard him say "Hasta La Vista Baby" ... The end of my little morning's story.

Busy packing. Got flight to India tomorrow for the wedding on 9th Nov.

Thank you all for your wishes. Promise to upload wedding pictures too.

Will comment tomorrow.

I had a few different angles of this but it was the lighting here that sold me. Perhaps the depth of field also. I like it shallow.

Happy Macro Mondays

Thankfully, this year I was given permission to photograph in the snowdrop meadow near me.

Grey squirrel enjoying treats on the backyard deck on a very windy morning.

I think that sometimes it is very hard to extract the truth. For some, lying is easy.

This fact has nothing to do with beads thank god.....lol

Happy Smile on Saturday

A little weed still alive with some wispy seeds left clinging on. Seen against the side of a house.

Of course, I had some ideas for this but settled in on this one.

I do not like the thank you system on Flickr. Please just visit other people's streams. That is the thank you needed.

OK, who dose not enjoy a snack or two?

Just one of my little buddies who dropped in for a mini-sandwich treat, after playing in the park outside my backyard.

I knew what I wanted to do but could not remember where that old alarm clock prop was sitting. Then it was so hard to get the right light, so I went to the front porch for the last bit of light.

Smile on Saturday

I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend! I took a few days off Flickr - will try to catch up to your latest images today :)
