A friendly reminder from your USC Office of Equity and Diversity. (Equity and Diversity?!)

The visual theme of the brochure is dress shoes. Nothing says "unwelcome, awkward sexual situations" like dress shoes. Interestingly, the photos seem to perpetuate a separation of the sexes, specifically the fetishization of female footwear. But maybe I'm just reading too much into them.

A childhood favorite that now strikes me as more than a little, shall we say, problematic.

When Mr Jones made my life at the office a torment, I was ready to leave. Thank heavens Delia knew what to do about sexual harassment.

What am I going to do Delia? Mr Jones keeps leaning over me when I'm typing... I've asked him to stop, but now he says he'll sack me if I don't go out with him!

Well dear, sexual harassment in the workplace is a union issue... so firstly we'll call the Federated Clerks Union...

And then we'll break his legs...

The messages were impassioned and compelling. They drew attention to the vulnerability that many women face in public, and the harm done by gender stereotypes. They sparked conversations among those shopping, working and commuting, on the sidewalk and in traffic.

This is not a Photoshopped image. It is a photo of a freeze-framed DVR image taken the morning after the third debate, 10-20-16. The action of Trump wetting his lips went by very fast. This was during the discussion about nuclear weapons.

Even heads of state get sexually harassed, sometimes! Ick!

VANCOUVER — Former Mountie Krista Carle says she was constantly sexually harassed by male colleagues during the 20 years she was on the force.

Carle, a former RCMP constable, is speaking out after Catherine Galliford, a former spokeswoman for the RCMP in B.C., said on Tuesday that she suffered sexual harassment from senior officers for years.

Carle said she was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder in 2004 after being sexually harassed by colleagues for 19 years. She applied for medical discharge in 2009 due to stress.

Excited by the instant impact of this 80-person initiative, its organizers are already planning other offline street movements, using social media as a multiplier and mobilization tool. They hope to further broaden discussion on a topic that has for too long been considered a taboo, and for too long kept Egypt’s women vulnerable.

You will be surprised ! Touch "Her", we dare you. There has to be a better way to phrase this. When poetic language is translated, funny things happen.

I made this shot today for our employee magazine. The article is about a nationwide new policy on sexual harassment.

I can't say I was in a rush up to deadline, but I could'nt really think of a better set up. I know this is a cliche, but to me it has all the 'ingredients'.

How would you do it if not like this?

Violence against women and girls is everyone's problem. It brings down an entire society. We are ALL touched by femicide in India. Census data shows that poverty and illiteracy are not key factors in India’s female genocide as many assume. The survival of girls is determined by a patriarchal politics of wealth control.

Save the Girl, Educate the Girl.

Manual scavenging: It’s illegal, it’s demeaning and it’s fatal. And yet, it happens. Non-existent for govt, yet people die 30-ft under ground.

Despite existing laws and policies, the lack of sensitisation among local authorities and the government on the prohibition of manual scavenging remains the main reason behind people being forced to engage in the hazardous cleaning of septic and sewer tanks, highlights a report on manual scavenger deaths — Justice Denied. The report, released by NGO Rashtriya Garima Abhiyan, on 4 October 2018 has covered case studies from 11 states. The study identified 140 incidents and over 302 deaths from 1992 to 2018. Of the 140 incidents, the study covered 51 incidents in which 97 deaths were documented. There is an immediate need to intensify awareness campaigns for the public, urban bodies, contractors and households where manual cleaning of septic and sewer tanks is carried out, especially since cleaners do not have access to any kind of protective gear or safety equipment, to stop this practice, said the report.
