FLEACT provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 83 tenant commands, and 24,000 military and civilian personnel. Pass the Number Along!WAVAW’s 24 Hour Sexual Assault Crisis Line Awareness Campaign
From April 13 through April 28th, WAVAW will be running an awareness campaign of our 24 Hour Sexual Assault Crisis Line - 604-255-6344. We will have our 24 Hour Crisis Line featured on buses, we will be delivering posters and brochures of our 24 Hour Crisis Line to organizations, businesses and individuals in our communities, engaging in discussions on our social media, and calling on our community members to work collectively to prevent sexual assault. This campaign is in recognition of both the Prevention of Violence Against Women Week, April 15-21, 2012 and National Victims of Crime Awareness Week April 22-28, 2012.

Hundreds of Soldiers and civilians gathered at the running track next to Natcher Physical Fitness Center early Sept. 23 to run laps. Unlike the normal physical training that occurs there during any given workday, this gathering was called to bring greater awareness to the issues of sexual assault and harassment within the military, what officials with the Fort Knox Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program are calling “Walking for 7,623+.”
