So here's Sever, which I think I haven't take a picture of her in a LONG time.

I'll try to give my dolls more love and take more photos of them, But sometimes the inspiration kind of goes low ( I think is a normal feeling lol).

I'm mostly uploading this to say that I'm quitting my 30 day self portrait challenge. My internet got shut off (it took great efforts for me to upload this at work) and it won't be turned on for about two weeks. I hate not posting every day when I'm doing an every day project, so I'm calling it quits. Also I wasn't really having fun with it. At this point in my life, I want to focus on quality and not quantity, and that will be better done if I don't force shoots and allow myself to shoot other people.

 

On the upside, I'm going on a three day backpacking trip into the wilds of Alaska and will be visiting a ton of cool places. You can expect a couple photos from that.

 

It's time for me to quit making mediocre photographs.

A Catedral de Berlim é a maior igreja protestante da cidade. Fundada por Guilherme II da Prússia, está localizada perto da Alexanderplatz, diante do Palácio Real de Berlim. Construída entre 1895 e 1905, o seu estilo arquitectónico é o Neo-barroco. Durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, a catedral foi severamente danificada pelos bombardeamentos, assim como a maioria dos edifícios berlinenses.

 

Após uma série de reformas, reabriu as suas portas em 1993 e agora pode ser visitada em qualquer dia da semana. Os elementos de maior destaque são o órgão Sauer, os vitrais multicoloridos e o altar principal, que data de 1850 e foi herdado da anterior catedral. O interior do templo é de grande majestuosidade e o altar da igreja é impressionante. Além do altar pode-se visitar a cripta onde estão os túmulos dos Hohenzollern.

 

Embora sinistra esta cripta transmite uma tranquilidade impressionante. Ver túmulos não estará nas preferências de muitos turistas, no entanto nós e mais uns poucos fizemo-lo…E no meio de dias tão agitados foi sem dúvida um momento de verdadeira paz.
