Gathering the 5 buses from the Alpe d'Huez ski resort was not easy because one was online. He had to be discreetly taken out of his line to introduce him with the others. And all this for what ? Just for the photoshoot ...

In June 2018, my wife & I attended a Family Wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn, 275 Baker Street in Atlanta, Georgia. One end the hallway on the on the 13 Floor (they call it Floor PH) gave me a Great View of the CSX Tracks, while the other end of the hallway gave me a great view of the Skyview Ferris Wheel across the street from Centennial Olympic Park.
On the morning of June 3, 2018, I took this Side View Photograph of this Trailways Red River Bus #2818 (1 of 2) from one of the Hotel Hallway Windows at 6;58 AM and I went downstairs to the Street and took a Photograph of the Front of the same Trailways Red River Bus #2818 (2 of 2) at 7:07 AM.

The name "Setra" comes from "selbsttragend" (self supporting). This refers to the integral nature of the construction of the vehicles back in the 1950s when competitor vehicles still featured a separate chassis and body (often manufactured by separate companies). It is also possible that, with an eye to export markets, the company was mindful that for non-German speakers, the name "Kässbohrer" is difficult to pronounce. Until 1995 the firm operated under the name Kässbohrer-Setra, but in that year economic difficulties enforced its sale to Daimler Benz (between 1998 and 2008 known, especially in the United States, by the name of its holding company Daimler Chrysler). Since 1995, Setra has been a member of the Daimler Benz subsidiary, EvoBus GmbH.
