This is so sad! Until some months ago this was a beautiful windmill just like all the others in this album. Then came January 18th '07 - and the windstorm Kyrill. The storm set the windmill blades in motion, faster and faster, until the frictional heat set the mill on fire. The windmill - with its wooden suspended ceilings, interior and stairs, burned out completely that night. Only the stone walls remained.
The reconstruction is scheduled for 2008/2009.
