This scene was captured at the infamous Dungeness. A wonderfully stark, unique coastal scape in Kent. The abandoned, weather worn fishing boats are often the focus for photographers and this one was no exception. The tripod off to the left and the pose of the man with the camera gives a sense of purpose .

A wild and windy hour or so watching nature's fury. There was a beautiful big sea running yesterday , I managed to find a high dry ledge and watch the display. I always love the fact that the Herring Gulls are always in every photo, they must continually just work their way along the cliffs. I guess it's less energy consuming than trying to stand up on the cliff tops, perhaps they're riding out the storm. Set me free is by The Sand Band.I'm not sure whether to go in to Cardiff today, I don't really need any more presents but may go in for a. walk around.
In this shot, it wasn't really so dark. The sun was still in the sky and I'd taken the exposure right down to better capture it's beautiful glow through the roof of the glasshouse.

This is a continuation of the current project of an Image a day.
This will take a year to complete. It will be a "Colour Project"....numbered 731 to 1100 and it will begin on September 1st 2022..
I will also include an additional 4 Sets that will last a month each.
First will be Vines and Vineyards in November.2022.
Second is Forests ,,Water, ,Trees and Leaves in February 2023.
Third "Light Eating Objects" in May 2023.
Forth will be another B&W . August 2023.
On top of all that every month will feature a small set of 4 pics with different themes.

We haven't had a storm in a while, we are in a settled period of sunny days, blue skies and frosts at night. Consequently I've been obsessed with adders and haven't been down to the coast much. I think we need a bit of wave action to set me free. Set me free is by The Sand Band.
