did you know earlier versions of the tale told of an old hairy dirty woman invading to eat the porridge? over time she morphed into a less repulsive character called goldilocks
these are perfect reminders of childhood whether you serve up cereal or soup

This is my first levitation and I don't think it's too shabby (: This song has described me perfectly for the past two years of my life and is the inspiration for this.
What I love so much about shooting is that you have an idea in your head and when you try to make it come to life, it doesn't always work out. Yet somehow you come up with something equally or even more amazing than what you originally thought of, even though it usually comes out very different.

I went back to the badlands today to wander around a mass kill area of fossilized tortoises. There are hundreds of them visible above ground. I am assuming that they were killed about 30 million years ago.
The area where they are exposed if very far from any road and I had to walk a great distance to get to them. But, I made it once again and took some nice photos...I think. I walked many miles and took my time along the way to photo just about anything I found of interest.
I arrived here a little after 6am and it was chilly and the sky was overcast. The temperature was 27F, but by the time I finished 3 hours later it had warmed up to 31F. At least I didn't forget to wear my gloves this time.
Not my usual thing so not really that sure about this one. Just wanted to post something different for a change.
I picked this vintage coffee set up in a charity shop in Liverpool. I love the colours and the art deco style. It looks great on my dresser!

We found out what a set was. It's what all the supercool Thai kids get when they go out on the town—a bucket of ice, a bottle of booze (in this case, rum), and mixers. I did not participate in this mini set, unfortunately.
Ps, you're not sposed to put the bottle in the bucket. In nicer/more old fashioned places it seems like you're likely to have your set presented to you on a serving cart next to your table. The server (coincidentally, usually a cute young lady) will come by every so often and mix you drinks next to your table. Looked like that sort of service was mostly for the over-50 male crowd though. I thought the idea was nice (having your own spread with all the fixins) but I was more into the casual way the kids did it in Bangkok (blurry photos forthcoming) :)
But man, I love those ice buckets. Mostly because they do a great job of taunting you when you're not eating ice in certain places. We kind of gave up on that on the island and ate/drank whatever. I got away with only two days and one night of painful pukey feverishness! Go me!
