My sceond engagement session.
For Emilia and Paweł, whose wedding I will be shooting next month.
As you can see, I am quite busy nowadays ;-)
I wish I could spend more time on flickr - but my new "business" is so time consuming!
For this engagement session we started at the spot where she had learned to swim as a child. It was blustery and rainy this day; the hike to the water was steep, slippery and muddy, but these two didn't notice any of that.
We battled the summer heat and had a great time!

It's a 4-day weekend in Japan with rain predicted for the first 3 days. So I'm going through some oldies. These are from a jam session I went to in Tokyo. Not a typical jam session by any means.
This was my first maternity session, and we had so much fun! It was a first for all of us :) so we had to work through the first few minutes of being unsure, but as soon as we started discussing the new baby-to-be it was just fun and laughs and relaxed.

Yesterday it was my mom's birthday. I'm sure you're glad to know it (irony inside :p).
For JJ's last birthday we did some pottery painting and this year he fancied doing some more when my sister came to visit (on Good Friday). Here we all are, hard at work, painting and chatting!!
Tim joined in with our session. Harbie just watched!

Social infrastructure in Emerging Economies. The Case for New Financing Instruments
The discussion discovered how to expand Public Private Partnership (PPP) model to social infrastructure projects (schools, hospitals, etc.) and focused on new financial instruments for such projects in emerging economies, providing the audience with successful case studies.

Breakout Session: Connectivity
Technology is one of the defining forces of our collective future, reshaping the way we learn, innovate, and connect with one another. Today, new digital technologies and advancements—such as the Internet of Things, smart devices, artificial intelligence, and the block chain—are increasingly changing the concept of connectivity itself and enhancing our ability to maximize human potential. The strategies we design and the investments we make will impact how equitably access to these innovations is shared—and how drastically livelihoods will be improved as a result.
How can we bridge the digital divide of today and harness the potential of connectivity to impact our societies, environment, and economies of tomorrow?
