four of these compiled from scratch, the other two are funky freebsd installs on SATA drives and i had to do a lot of hoop-jumping to get them to work..

We monitor from 3 different points within each cabinet for temperature and airflow. We also monitor the data center's ambient temperature. Alerts are sent out if measurements go over set limits.
Power usage is monitored to ensure we are within limits of the power supplied to our cabinets.
