OH LOOK !!!! The servants quarters has received some updates a furnace a foundation, eleven computers for seven rooms. My Mind begs a question? How much finances could be raised if this building served to answer the question of how servants were housed and the life they lived in servitude of the day. (Possibly a trailer (KENT) could be used for staff working 5 months of the year.

Almost everything comes from Genre, where the main theme is "Mer-Folk". I've never been into Mermaids roleplay. But while I was thinking about it, I remembered a character from God of War III, a young (biatch) I mean, servant, of Poseidon. My outfit is heavily based on it, to be honest.
This is thought to be the grave slab of St Ragener. Tradition has it that King Edmund and Prince Ragener were taken prisoner by the Danes following a great battle in 870 and Ragener buried at St Peter’s church – the predecessor to the present church. By the 11th century, a servant of the priest went of pilgrimage to Rome and on his return was told in a vision that ‘a friend of God’ lay buried beneath the church. Sure enough, they discovered a grave in which a scroll claimed its occupant was Ragener, and a sufficient number of miraculous cures were recorded that Ragener became a saint. Whether or not the grave was indeed Ragener, this is by all accounts a grave slab of the period, and intended for someone of great substance. This is at the foot, inverted so you can see there is rather a sweet horse or donkey.
This artistically rendered photograph was taken at Stirling Castle and depicts a kitchen servant on his way to the dining hall with something tasty on a golden platter.
(It's actually a pudding in the shape of a boar's head).
This was a special event at the castle where everyone was in costume.

Iceland has not many species of wild mammals so I have to make do with what I see around me.
The Icelandic horse has been called The Essential Servant because of his important role in our history.

The Town of Palm Beach is an incorporated town in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The Intracoastal Waterway separates it from the neighboring cities of West Palm Beach and Lake Worth. In 2000, Palm Beach had a year-round population of 10,468, with an estimated seasonal population of 30,000.
Prior to being established as a resort by Henry Morrison Flagler, who made the Atlantic coast barrier island accessible via his Florida East Coast Railway, Palm Beach was a sparsely populated part of Lake Worth. The nucleus of the community was established by Flagler's two luxury resort hotels, the Royal Poinciana Hotel and The Breakers Hotel. West Palm Beach was built across Lake Worth as a service town and has become a major city in its own right.
Flagler's house lots were bought by the beneficiaries of the Gilded Age, and in 1902 Flagler himself built a Beaux-Arts mansion, Whitehall, designed by the New York–based firm Carrère and Hastings and helped establish the Palm Beach winter "season" by constantly entertaining. The town was incorporated on 17 April 1911.
An area known as the Styx housed many of the servants, most of whom were black. The workers rented their small houses from the landowners. In the early 1900s the landowners agreed to evict all of the residents of the Styx (who moved to West Palm Beach, Florida) and Edward R. Bradley bought up much of this land. The houses were razed, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.

Gospel Movie Clip | "Faith in God" (3) - What Do God's Work and Appearance Bring to the Religious Community?
Introduction
Each time God becomes flesh and appears to do God's work
, Satan's evil forces savagely defy and condemn the true way. In this way, war arises within the spiritual world which divides and exposes the religious world. The Lord Jesus said, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword" (Matthew 10:34). When the Lord Jesus appeared and worked in the Age of Grace, Judaism split into many factions. Now with the appearance and work of Almighty God in the last days, the religious world is subjected to a great exposing; the wheat and the tares, the sheep and the goats, the wise virgins and the foolish virgins, and the good servants and bad servants—all are exposed, each to their own kind. God's wisdom and wonders truly are unfathomable!

The legend of Bahkauv
Walking through the old town of Aachen, at the Büchel you will come across a dark bronze beast, the one called “Bahkauv”.
In this place, once upon a time, a man named Kolbert found a watering hole which now served as a laundry for the servants. According to legend, a “Bahkauv” – a giant calf with scaly skin and sharp teeth – inhabited these springs, greedily waiting for its next loot. At night, in particular, when the drunken men returned, they woke the creature from its sleep. Under the din of dragged chains and a loud roar, the Bahkauv jumped on the shoulders of the terrified men and stole their last penny. It was only before arriving at their gates that they managed with difficulty to get rid of the heavy load of the Bahkauv.
Who knows ? Perhaps, even today, the one who returns home late at night, struggles with the Bahkauv, weighing heavily on his shoulders..
"Torchlight flickered off the walls and cloistered beds. The chamber was sparse, but decorative. Meant to house the favored servants of the castle as evident by the nicety of the full length mirror and ornate rugs to stave off the chill of early morning flagstone."
The servant's quarters of my home, the castle capital of Cyria. The shadows and lights are built into the textures.
This was shot from a slightly higher tower so unfortunately it suffers slightly from diverging verticals. I thought it still gave a good flavour of the Portuguese Manueline architecture of the Palace though.

From Wikipedia : "The Regaleira Palace (Portuguese: Palácio da Regaleira) bears the same name as the entire estate. The structure's façade is characterized by exuberantly Gothic pinnacles, gargoyles, capitals, and an impressive octagonal tower.
The palace contains five floors (a ground floor, three upper floors, and a basement). The ground floor consists of a series of hallways that all connect the living room, dining room, billiards room, balcony, some smaller rooms, and several stairways. In turn, the first upper floor contains bedrooms and a dressing room. The second upper floor contains Carvalho Monteiro's office, and the bedrooms of female servants. The third upper floor contains the ironing room and a smaller room with access to a terrace. Finally, the basement contains the male servants' bedrooms, the kitchen (which featured an elevator for lifting food to the ground floor), and storage rooms."

Time for a serious MOC! My previous two were nice warm-ups after taking a break for quite some time. But, I found time to finish this MOC up.
A large scorpion that glows in the dark, just like how scorpions glow under black-light! A servant to the Egyptian God, Serket
I tried to keep the MOC anatomically correct, with the lone exception of the eyes. I felt some nice, big eyes would be better serving to this.
The legs can all move, the tail is pose-able (and the stinger is also able to rotate back), and the top pincers can close down like a real scorpion.
