self double exposed on round frame 600 film shot on polaroid nOW
on a side note: apologies for all the recent self portraits going up because it verges on trite/ redundant/ narcissistic. From 2018-2021 I was going through my umpteenth round of post acute withdrawal & initiating my final farewell from psych med cocktails that never fulfilled their promise. Took 4 years to lose 50 pounds of stubborn Seroquel weight & overcome the gravity of poverty that could barely afford me housing, let alone justifying film & dev expenditures. All things considered, it's very good to be back in front of a camera & feeling like myself again without the tranq blanket :))
Some people claim that masking impairs their brain, reducing cognition ( ability to concentrate and focus ). It might rarely cause this but if you catch the COVID virus it definitely causes brain impairment so better to stay masked!
Brain fog is very common to patients on multiple medications including anti-anxiety (benzodiazepines) anti-pain (narcotics) anti -neuropathy (anticonvulsant-Lyrica) anti-psychotic (quetiapine-Seroquel) and especially cannabinoids (tetrahydrocannabinol-THC, not CBD).
In this picture: Prozac 20mg, Ativan .5mg, Seroquel 25mg, Seroquel 300mg
Medicine and drugs, the solution to Americas problems. Not.
Don't get me wrong, these are actually "some" of my medications I take. And they help me for various things. But overall, it seems like this is all we are about these days. Poor healthcare in America, even if you (like I) have insurance.
Daytime Biohack on the left: what remains in the beer-mug-as-coffee-mug, which is always filled with coffee and milk tea.
Nighttime Biohack on the right: 100mg Seroquel which puts me to sleep.
Together they work like clockwork and runs through my system daily and is what keeps me going everyday.

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call
Recall Alice
When she was just small
When men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice
I think she'll know
When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the dormouse said;

September 28th, 2010.
My February shrink appt was canceled (grrrrrrrrrr) so I went back today. The current regime is:
Morning - Lamictal 300mg & Abilify (5mg for 10 days, then 10mg for 10 days then 15mg).
Bedtime: Halcion .25mg & Seroquel 600mg
As needed - Klonopin 1-4mg
Plus my Singulair & BC
Thank God my Doc had a 30 day free coupon for the Abilify, as it is $455.00/month & I have no insurance.
GAH! I need a nap.
Do you ever feel like your taking too many pills? Even in most of them are natural supplements? These are all mine :/
In case your counting there are 19 bottles there. That I take almost every day. Several times a day for most of them. In all fairness, 3 of the red prescription bottles I don't necessarily take every day. One I just don't want to unless I need to, and the other two are as needed. And one of the natural ones in the back I don't take every day either... it's meant to be only on certain days of the month. That still leaves 15 I take everyday, and I don't feel adding up how many per day.
If your jealous of my pretty red prescription bottles they are the cool bottles that Target Pharmacy dispenses their scripts in. My band color is yellow. My sons is green. They put different bands on for each member of the household. Pretty smart of them.
Wondering what's all there? I think I need to list it so if I am every hospitalized the nurse can look up this picture online and get the list, because I certainly can't remember them all. I am too busy taking them...
They are prescribed / used for many reasons. I am tagging more then what is wrong with me. The supplements came from a holistic doctor that is trying to fix my deficiencies and sensitivities / allergies.
In due time hopefully bottles prescription and supplements will be taken away.....
Ok the list:
Kavinase
Life Guard Multi-vitamin
Mega Fish Oil
Potent C (nasty to drink)
Bio D Forte
MSM (supposed to help my chronic pain)
VSL #3 (I like this one.. it has 225 BILLION live bacteria in each pill. Thats aways a good thing to know the little critters are there fixin your insides)
Selenium (This and Bio D Forte are drops, and they don't taste like candy anymore then the Potent C does)
GABA
Iodoral
Natures Throid 1 Gram
Progon B
Beta TCP
Oxcabazepin (Trileptal)
Seroquel 25 and 300
Fluoxetine (Prozac)
Lorazapam (Ativan)
Adderall (this is the one I don't take everyday thought I am supposed to)

• Ike Wister Turner (1931-2007) was born in this house • his father, Izear Luster Turner, was a Baptist minister, carpenter & RR worker • peering out of a front window, 3-yr-old Ike saw him beaten by a white posse led by the lover of one of Izear's girlfriends
• for years Ike thought his own name was Izear Luster Turner Jr • discovered legal name when he applied for a passport • has said first sex (age 6) was with a 45-year-old "Miss Boozie" • allegedly raped by 2 other women before age 12, said he wasn't traumatized: "In those days they didn't call it abuse. They called it fun!"
• Izear Turner died three years later, either from injuries suffered during the beating or, according to writer/blues historian Ted Drozdowski, in an industrial accident
• at age 11 Ike's mom – Beatrice – gave him 25¢/wk for piano lessons from blues pianist & future recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award, Pinetop Perkins (1913-2011) • boogie-woogie lessons in a pool hall: Ike played piano while Pinetop played pool • after an hour, Pinetop would play something for Ike to practice before his next lesson • learned guitar from Robert Nighthawk (1909-1967)
• as teenager operated elevator at Alcazar Hotel • assisted deejay Early Wright (1915-1999) at WROX studio located in hotel • in late 40s formed band Kings of Rhythm • their landmark 1951 song, "Rocket 88", credited to Jackie Brenston & his Delta Cats, who were actually the Kings of Rhythm with Turner on piano
• versions of song's origins have Brenston (1930-1979) as writer or, a 19-year-old Ike Turner writing the song with or without Brenston, either at the Riverside Hotel and/or on the road: We started writing the song in the car. By the time we got to Memphis, we was almost finished writing it, and we finished writing it in the studio. It took me 10 or 15 minutes to put the music together. -Ike Turner, We Like Ike • No. 1 on R&B charts, earned Ike $20 and no credit
• produced by 28-year-old Sam Phillips (1923-2003), Memphis Recording Service • released by Chess Records, Chicago • Phillips claimed "Rocket 88" first ever rock 'n roll record • others hold differing opinions • Brenston said song is based on 1947 Jimmy Liggins hit, Cadillac Boogie (2:39): If you listen to the two songs, you'll find out they're both basically the same. The words are just changed. • original recording of "Rocket 88" (02:54) • also influenced by Pete Johnson's 1949 Rocket Boogie 88 (2:32), named for newly launched Oldsmobile Rocket 88 automobile
• Turner became Philips' production assistant, commuting Clarksdale-Memphis • played piano on B. B. King's You Know I Love You • as a result, Modern Records' Joe Bihari requested Turner for King's 3 O'Clock Blues session, then hired him as talent scout • Bobby Bland, Howlin' Wolf, Rosco Gordon, Little Milton among artists sourced by Turner

• Ike asked Anna to use his surname to discourage her former lover — saxophonist Raymond Hill (1933-1996) — from trying to steal her for his band • Ike changed her first name to Tina (without her permission, she says), renamed backup trio the Ikettes • A Fool in Love (Sue 765) released 1960 under billing Ike & Tina Turner, sold 1MM copies, No. 2 R&B charts, No 27 pop • video (2:40) • duo became national stars • 1972 Grammy for Proud Mary • video (6:02)
• Turner one of the first black musicians to keep control of his music • owned booking agency, publishing & management company, designed band's uniforms & Ikettes' costumes including wigs and makeup, choreographed dance steps, directed lighting sound and stage effects.
• a former lover said, Once you go to bed with him, you wanted to stick around. -Ebony, Oct, 2008 • Ike married at least 5 times, claimed it was 14 – insisted the 1962 Tijuana marriage to Tina Turner never happened • had 6 children including Tina's son Craig — fathered by Raymond Hill but carries Turner's name — and also their own son, Ronald "Ronnie" Renelle Turner (b. 1960)
• Ike's infidelity & addiction to cocaine put a strain on the marriage • when he was getting on with housekeeper Ann Cain, Tina allegedly threatened her with a hammer, threw a table, beat her up • Ike: If I owe anybody an apology, that would be Tina. I put her through hell with other women. • movie was based on the book but "fictionalized for dramatic purposes" • public outraged by Ike as portrayed in movie • made "Ike Turner" byword for "domestic violence" & Tina a feminist icon • Ike claimed he never pulled gun on Tina as portrayed in movie; both Turners denied that Ike raped Tina • episode in book where Tina was served cake she didn't order & Ike tells her to eat it became film's famous eat cake scene (2:18), referenced in Beyoncé's controversial Drunk in Love • partial list of innacuracies

• the 5'8, 125 lb. musician's admissions to Tina's accusations were inconsistent • in a TV interview (4:33), Ike admitted hitting Tina • Sure, I've slapped Tina... There have been times when I punched her to the ground without thinking. But I have never beat her. • Yeah I hit her, but I didn't hit her more than the average guy beats his wife ... If she says I abused her, maybe I did. -Wikipedia
Me and the Devil / was walkin' side by side / Me and the Devil, ooh / was walkin' side by side / And I'm goin' to beat my woman / until I get satisfied -Robert Johnson, Me and the Devil Blues (2:38) • Uncensored History of the Blues podcast: Beating Blues (24:37)
• Oh, sure [I hit her], but not because I was mean or anything bad like that. She would get these attitudes and give me grief, so we would get into fights and I maybe had to hit her some. • But I never beat her. That's not my style. If you start something with me, I just ain't going to sit back and take it. • Tina exaggerates about me beating her. Have you seen how big she is? Man, she could handle guys bigger than me if she wanted to. But ain't it part the woman's fault if she stays around and lets me hit her? She didn't have to put up with that." -Rockabilly
• former Ikette PP Arnold said "of course" she witnessed Ike's spousal abuse. We were on the road together. Traveling together like family. I think that I was affected worse than the others because of my own personal abuse syndrome. I cried for Tina on many occasions. • former Ikette Claudia Lennear said, During the three years I was an Ikette, I never witnessed any physical abuse. He was certainly never abusive to me. -Providence Journal
• Steve "Sandy" Leigh, keyboardist: I played for I&TT. I lived in their house. Tina (Little Ann) was known as "Ditta". She often made me lunch. At no time was there any violence that *I* know of. If there was, I'd be honest about it. -In Honor of Ike Turner
• singer Etta James said she witnessed (seemingly unprovoked) violence: Tina said, “Look at this diamond Ike gave me," as she pulled the ring from her purse and started putting it on her finger. It was dazzling. When Ike came back, he took one look at the ring on Tina’s hand and without saying a word, he punched her in the face with a closed fist. Then he grabbed her hand and bent it back, and yanked off the ring, almost breaking her finger in the process. Her face swelled up right in front of me. -Rage to Survive, 1995
• recalling longtime Ikette Robbie Montgomery Tina said, Robbie was a support for me in those dark days [of Ike's abuse]... And when Robbie left, I missed her so much. I don't mean to cry... Robbie and I were very close. -Huffington Post, 2013 • in 2014 TV interview, Robbie Montgomery said she believed Ike was bipolar but never witnessed him abusing Tina: video (2:19)
• Ike's ex-wife Jeannette Bazzell said, I want the truth exposed. He was a man who stood on his own courage. He was very demanding, controlling and yes, he was a womanizer. But he gave his heart. When he was up, he was all the way up. When he was down, he was all the way down. There was no middle. • Turner's caregiver, background singer Falina Rasool, said Ike was taking Seroquel for his bipolar condition -The Last Days of Ike Turner, Ebony, Oct, 2008

Part of Your World
Music: Alan Menken
Lyrics: Howard Ashman
Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
The girl who has ev'rything?
Look at this trove
Treasures untold
How many wonders can one cavern hold?
Lookin' around here you'd think
(Sure) she's got everything
I've got gadgets and gizmos aplenty
I've got whozits and whatzits galore
(You want thingamabobs?
I got twenty)
But who cares?
No big deal
I want more
I wanna be where the people are
I wanna see
Wanna see 'em dancin'
Walkin' around on those
(Whad'ya call 'em?) oh - feet
Flippin' your fins you don't get too far
Legs are required for jumpin', dancin'
Strollin' along down a
(What's that word again?) street
Up where they walk
Up where they run
Up where they stay all day in the sun
Wanderin' free
Wish I could be
Part of that world
What would I give
If I could live
Outta these waters?
What would I pay
To spend a day
Warm on the sand?
Betcha on land
They understand
Bet they don't reprimand their daughters
Bright young women
Sick o' swimmin'
Ready to stand
And ready to know what the people know
Ask 'em my questions
And get some answers
What's a fire and why does it
(What's the word?) burn?
When's it my turn?
Wouldn't I love
Love to explore that shore above?
Out of the sea
Wish I could be
Part of that world.

Regardless of wether a robot has intelligence or not, human's will not consider them intelligent, for it is not the ability to think that humans grant intelligence in their perception, but the ability to suffer.

The movie 'Lost Years' is available to view for free via www.lost-years.com.
It’s December 2008. Only a few short months before, I had awakened from my long-lasting, first psychosis. I have just received a response to my request for the film academy to allow to graduate. Unfortunately, the current – and next – fourth year courses are fully booked, so there is no place for me (any more). When I was forced to terminate my studies at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy in 2006 (direction – fiction), they had expressed hope I would seek help. I refused for years, convinced that others were responsible for what was happening to me. Now I was receiving treatment from professionals at the Parnassia institute in The Hague, but it seemed like my career as a film-maker was doomed to failure.
Just before Christmas, my psychiatrist Wim Veling makes a proposal. The Parnasia First Pyschosis Centre was going to organise a national study day in May 2009. He suggests I might make a short documentary about having a first psychosis for the study day. I decide to discuss the proposal with my brother Robert, who graduated from the film academy with a degree in production. Why not use my own story for the documentary? The idea for the film ‘Lost Years’ was born. Production company JensenFrisbee was enthusiastic about producing the film.
Wim Veling and my social psychiatric nurse, Gertjan Meewis, were on board with the idea, and in the following months we started looking for funding. With an initial budget of 40,000 euros, that was going to take some time, so we gave up on trying to show the film during the study day. At the same time, I started writing a movie script. The basis for the screenplay was a letter I had sent my parents, telling them what I thought had happened to me in the past years.
In the late summer of 2009, we had only managed to raise half the necessary funds. At the time, we had the support of Stroom Den Haag, the Nuts Ohra Fund and Koningsheide Foundation. Five versions of the screenplay have been written. I want to create an authentic document of how I experienced my psychosis. This proved more difficult than expected. Additionally, the screenplay has grown from twenty to about fifty pages. Then we get some good news. Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca is willing to finance the other half of the film. AstraZeneca also wants to show the film during the Netherlands Psychiatry Association’s spring conference on 14 April 2010.
Robert and I are happy, but – based on the version of the screenplay we have then – also a little worried. The project has grown from a simple docu-drama into a one-hour movie. We wonder if we shouldn’t look for additional financing first, a realistic option given the script. Shouldn’t we expand the project, turning it into a full-fledged 90 minute movie, and obtain proper funding? Because we are so enthusiastic about the project, we decide to go for it. We attempt to find additional funding, without any luck. I also make a final attempt at graduating from the film academy. Unfortunately, my idea to use the existing movie script and obtained funding to create a thesis film is not embraced by all.
Preproduction starts in late 2009. We have a movie script that is now seventy pages long, a forty thousand euro budget and a deadline on 14 April 2010. It turns into a guerrilla project, dependent on the goodwill of a large number of people. In subsequent months we assemble a fully-fledged crew, willing to work for peanuts, and a cast largely willing to act in return for a 10 euro expense fee.
After eight days of shooting, creating enough material for a 90 minute movie, three weeks of editing, and two and a half weeks of sound design, a 65 minute film is completed in early April 2010. On 14 April, ‘Lost Years’ premiered. From 15 April, it is available to view for free via www.lost-years.com.

They just make you worse.
I don't know about any of you, but many of my friends and I have health problems where the prescribed medications' side effects are just about as terrible as the illness itself, if not worse. And let's add of the fact that most of us don't have health insurance and these medications are hundreds of dollars a month.
To quote a friend of mine, "Don't want to live with them, won't live long without them."
I didn't believe in the supernatural until after 2009 when I started experiencing things right out of a horror movie. Initially, thinking I was experiencing a psychosis, I went to a couple of psychiatrists and tried all the class II anti-psychotic medications available at the time. I was diagnosed as schizophrenic, but none of the medications helped me do anything but sleep a little better for a while. I was proscribed 600 mg of Seroquel and 12mg of Ambien for a bit.
I bragged about the medications to a voice I was hearing at the time that called itself "The Lucifer" - obviously lying about it’s name whatever it was - and I told it something like "this is my hedge you can't do anything about it". Then one night I heard the voice say "now I'm going to show you how I can overcome the medications".
Shortly afterwards, I had very severe insomnia which lasted for a period of about three years and got ulcers. Even my psychiatrist once remarked, when I discussed the problem with him and the current amount of medication I was taking, "that's quite a bit of of medication for sleep". He then explained to me the importance of being careful with the dosages of medications which slow your breathing and your heartbeat..
When I questioned the voice about the whereabouts of my guardian angel one day - as I thought surely I "know my rights" and must have one... I "was given" the visual image of a man with wings in a closet tied up in ropes!! Later theories of mine were that the demon had handed my angel a large wad of cash, or that my angel, in a fit of despair, simply ditched his halo and went on holiday... ;)
In the end, becoming a Christian and drawing closer to the Lord healed me as none of antipsychotic medications I tried worked in terms of eliminating the strange things happening to me - smells with out any source of odor, sensations of being touched by something invisible, a strong overwhelming sensation of fear that would appear and disappear on the order of seconds and dreams and hints about things that would happen in the future.
In the course of seeking help, I spoke with Dr. Richard Gallagher who is a very nice person and was teaching at NY medical college at the time. He has an interesting book out called "Demonic Foes" - a really good read!!
I am still a great believer in modern medicine, psychiatry and psychology and think anyone thinking they might being having problems with spirits like demons, should first seek out a psychiatrist and try treatment and see if what happens. Ideally a psychiatrist, for a person seeking treatment, would be of their same faith and open to the possibility of spiritual warfare - though I know they are rare.
In fact, I remember walking around one day near the end of a nearby trail, a little depressed because I was unable to sleep, often being tormented by the voice during the daytime, and having run into a bit of skepticism about the existence of demons among several of the priests and pastors I had spoken to about my problems. I then prayed silently once again - a heartfelt prayer that time - voicing all my problems and once more asking the Lord for help.
About a half hour later, I crossed a street and went into a fast food place to get a drink as it was hot out that day. After paying for the drink and sitting down I noticed a man sitting with someone that worked at the fast food place with a book. I found out later that the man was leading a Bible study there with a young man who worked there.
We got to talking and I mentioned my state of affairs and he ended up giving me the number of a friend of his that was a psychiatrist, was also a reverend, and whom I learned later had had a demonic encounter of his own in a cabin near the top of K2.
What were the odds exactly?!!! This was one more strange experience that served to increase my faith as a Christian.
But the real truth is that inevitably trials and tribulations and nastiness of all sorts will come along when you become a Christian.. There is an explanation in 1 Peter 4:12-14 which talks about suffering for Christ:
"Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you."
The totally awesome demon image was a free image from Pixelbay via a page from user PendleburyAnnette. The background image of the house and nightsky was also free from Pixelbay. I added the clouds and used meshes and overlaid much of them with other free images I have accumulated to create the other two characters.
Adverse Events:
Apologies, folks, I've been doing a daily blog series at my main blog
this month, plus my usual blogging there, and that on top of this and
the other place I blog daily has just been too much for me to do every
day. Not that there aren't plenty of good things to share with you!
This one is especially important. I could not resist mentioning it
ASAP.
I discovered the Adverse Events site by reading an extremely thought
provoking interview in Pharmalot from last October.
A New Way To Find Side Effect Info: Brian Explains:
www.pharmalot.com/2011/10/a-new-way-to-find-side-effect-i...
The part that absolutely set my head awhirl was this:
"But the bigger problem was that the actual data in the database was
corrupted – there a ton of misspellings, key stoke errors, padded
spaces. There was no standardization of data in any field. That’s when
the light bulb went off and we realized how big this potential problem
was. There’s no way they (the FDA) could know what was going on with
drug safety in this country. And it’s taken us 18 months to fix the
data."
They were talking about the FDA's own database on adverse events. I
started digging around, read the Fast Company article, and found there
are lots more besides.
Fast Company: AdverseEvents: Why Big Pharma Is Scared Of This Startup:
www.fastcoexist.com/1678555/adverseevents-why-big-pharma-...
Adverse Events in the News:
The database is free to healthcare consumers, includes patient safety
reviews, as well as the ability to search for information on drug, the
condition, or the side effect. There are value added bits, like the
list of the top ten drugs
with the highest numbers of adverse event reports. The results
come in nice clear tidy easy-to-read charts. Here are a few examples.
* Drug:
Try searching "Prednisone." The search engine asks you to choose the
class or type of drug, which would be a barrier to many health
consumers. I chose "Corticosteroids". Information returned included
alternate names, typical patient profile, manufacturers, common
conditions for which it is prescribed, and a list of the most commons
adverse events and the total number of patients included in the
reports. There is a button to report a side effect (handy, visible,
prominently located). There is a "More" if you want to see the less
common adverse events, and that takes you to a page asking you to
subscribe.
* Condition:
This is where it gets really potentially interesting for supporting
clinical decision making. Try searching "Acne." It lists the drugs
often prescribed for that condition in descending order of number of
adverse event reports. The adverse events are organized into four
useful columns: number of patients, deaths, life-threatening,
hospitalizations. There is a dramatic dropoff halfway down the page.
Accutane tops the list with almost 6 thousand reports, over a hundred
deaths, and over a thousand hospitalizations.
* Side Effect:
Try searching "suicidal ideation." The search results list (again in
descending order of most reports) Chantix, Paxil, Neurontin, Accutane,
Singulair, Seroquel, Effexor Xr, Cymbalta, Oxycontin, Zoloft, More.
Click more and it asks you to subscribe.

List of Most Dangerous Drugs and Medications
The following list includes some medications which may be dangerous products that could cause serious permanent personal injuries or even death:
Accutane: Accutane is an acne drug that may cause suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts, suicides, severe birth defects, and miscarriage. It has also been linked to fatal pancreatitis and hepatitis.
Trasylol: Trasylol has been linked to a substantial increase in the risk for kidney failure, heart attack and stroke.
Ortho Evra: Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch side effects could result in a heart attack, stroke, blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary emblism or death.
Fosamax: Osteoporosis medication linked to an increased risk of osteonecrosis of the jaw, which involves decay of the jawbone.
Fentanyl: Fentanyl lawsuits are being pursued for users of the Duragesic Patch and Actiq Fentanyl Lollipop who suffered a serious injury or death.
Seroquel: The atypical antipsychotic medication has been linked to an increased risk of diabetes and other life-threatening side effects.
Digitek Tablets: On April 28, 2008, a Digitek recall was issued due to manufacturing defects which caused twice the active ingredients to be included in digoxin tablets.
Gadolinium Based MRI Contrast Agents: For those with kidney problems, MRI contrast agents with gadolinium could cause a disabling hardening of the skin which restricts movement of the joints.

Bipolar II. Whee. This means that I have been VERY mis-medicated for the last decade+ and that the new CORRECT meds should help rather quickly. Woot. Woot, I say. Ok, so I said that in the last blog.
Anyhoo. I start my new meds tomorrow (Seroquel & Lamictal) and also started detoxing from Effexor XR today. I think that I will need your prayers directed to the detox more than the new meds. I have spoken with several people who have had to detox from EXR. Combining their stories with my own experience coming off of Paxil & Lexapro, I have come to the decision that the next few weeks are going to be physically & enotionally painful. I am scared to death. Some of the more festive side effects of detox include:
SEVERE headaches
Brain zaps (if you have never had these, I don't know how to describe it, something akin to being shocked with a stun gun inside your skull, repeatedly)
Nausea
Diarrhea
Muscle cramps (I remember with the Lexapro detox, the muscles in my face would cramp. THAT was interesting)
Night sweats
Vomiting and many many more
Scariest of all? What Wyeth disingenuously calls "withdrawal syndrome," that once you acclimate to Effexor (venlafaxine hydrochloride) you are basically hooked for life. The discontinuation syndrome never goes away if you try to stop. For someone with unipolar depression that's a pain in the ass, but something you might be able to work around barring any really adverse side effects, but for someone who is bipolar you can be royally screwed because Effexor (venlafaxine hydrochloride) can really aggravate mania and especially rapid cycling. _from www.crazymeds.org/effexor.html _
Pray for me as I continue to try and get healthy (or chant or light a candle, or send good vibes).
just when I thought my seroquel couldn't get any bigger I went and bought the generic brand and.. Fucking hell.
the ever changing pill organiser has once again been updated. 600mg seroquel 50mg zoloft and now with bonus iron.
We don't know who he is. We don't know where he originally came from. He approached us as we were parking and getting out of the car and headed into a store to look at a mattress.
He started off by telling us that he didn't drink and wasn't into drugs. He was rambling a bit and continued to ramble as he asked us for $6 to add to $18 he already had in his pocket. Apparently he needed to pick up a prescription for Seroquel, a drug used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia.
During the conversation we also learned that he was staying at the Salvation Army, and that they'd "kicked him out" at 9am, not allowing him to return until 3pm. He also pulled out what looked to be a legitimate 30-day bus pass.
He told us other facts about his current life and his family. My wife spent the most time talking with him. As a former professor who worked with challenging students throughout her carrier before she retired, she has a deft touch in talking to people, and in helping where-ever possible. We eventually wound up giving him $8. I'm assuming he knew how much the prescription cost because there is a Walgreen's across the street from where we were talking.
I guess I want to know how a guy with obvious physical and emotional issues was allowed to walk around a parking lot in the middle of a hot July day in Orlando, Florida, without reasonable supervision. Although it never came out (and we never asked) he looks like ex-military, with his haircut and the prosthetic foot. That prosthesis isn't cheap.
Whoever he is, I hope he has friends and family in the area who care enough to look after him.

I have been having many issues so I have been away. I apologize to everyone. See my neck? it's hives. it is like that on the rest of my body as well. I had an allergic reaction to a medicine called Seroquel.
.Doh!
My first missed picture of the Project 365. I knew the day would come and I was afraid I would be really upset and fustrated and trash the project since I do get upset easy over stuff like this. But it turns out I am ok.
I worked the last two nights of 12.5 hour shifts, and I never did managed to fall asleep in between them. (going to the airport in the middle of the day didn't help).
And then when I got home on Feb. 6 I hoped to sleep and then go spend time with a friend, but I got blown off (I knew this early in the morning that it was going to happen). I was upset by this, and next thing I knew it was afternoon already, and I couldn't sleep still. So I forced my brain to turn off with some Seroquel and then it turned out I never woke up till after midnight.
So my son and I went to ihop at that point while I pondered how to rectify the missed picture. We also had some interesting conversations. What hes thinking about for college, he told me about some tribe that just died out as the last remaining member just passed, and that hes thinking about shaving his head as part of a fundraiser for a sick kid.
So anyway, my choice for this years missed 365 pics:
I went to Walgreens after ihop, and got myself some Crayola Color Surge markers and paper. I will make a sign to reflect that I missed a day. and even though its cheating I am modifying the electronic date stamp on the picture to say the date was missed, not taken. That way for future.... who knows what.... I will still have these photos in electronic order.
There are 40 surge papers in this pack i bought, i better not have to use all 40 of them due to missed days! Especially since I already wasted one sheet cuz i wrote the wrong date on it!
