Waterfowl Lakes

Alberta, Canada

The stones rest, unmoving, as time flows around them. The water, smooth as glass, mirrors the golden whispers of a distant town, stretching into the night like a dream unbroken. The sky, deep and endless, cradles faint trails of stars—silent witnesses to the slow breath of the lake. In this moment, all is still, yet the world keeps moving.

Gudauri is one of the most popular ski resorts in Georgia and is located in the high Caucasus Mountains, at an altitude of about 2,200 meters above sea level. It is located on the Georgian Military Highway, 120 kilometers from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. This mountain resort is famous for its breathtaking views, excellent skiing, and varied activities, making it a popular destination for both adventurous travelers and families. Gudauri offers perfectly groomed slopes that are suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. It has modern ski lifts and over 70 km of slopes. Gudauri is one of the few places in the world where you can go heli-skiing. A helicopter takes you to remote mountain peaks and skis through virgin snow. In addition to skiing, you can enjoy snow tubing, paragliding, and snowmobile tours in Gudauri. Gudauri has a wide range of accommodation options, from luxury resorts to cozy guesthouses, making it accessible to all budgets. Photo of red roofs beneath the Caucasus snowy mountains, a picturesque blend of vibrant architecture and nature’s icy embrace.

Gudauri is easily reached from Tbilisi via a scenic drive along the Georgian Military Highway. It takes about two hours to get there. In winter, the road is often cleared of snow, but it can sometimes be closed in extreme weather conditions. One of the iconic sights near Gudauri is the Friendship Monument, which offers stunning views of the Darial Gorge and the Caucasus Mountains. It is a popular stop for travelers on their way to the ski resort. Gudauri combines natural beauty, adventure and comfort, making it a great destination for both winter sports enthusiasts and travelers who simply want to enjoy the Caucasian Mountains.

The views from Signal Hill of the St.John's harbour are second to none! With the sweet smell of the sea and beautiful vistas, this spot is a definite must when visiting St. John's, Newfoundland.

This pandemic has definitely impacted millions of people all around the world... It has changed the way we see things and how we do things and how we interact with one another. In some ways it has created unique opportunities such as local travel. During a recent visit to the beautiful British Columbia, it was a refreshing sight to see fellow Canadians exploring their own "backyard" without numerous tourists and lineups.

To see the view of Howe Sound from the Sea to Sky gondola in Squamish was breathtaking and a reminder that we are so lucky to have such great beauty in a country as great as ours. I encourage everyone who is able to travel even if it's in your own province, to take advantage of everything Canada has to offer us! Let's support local tourism and local businesses during this difficult time!

As the red sun slowly sets over Kharagpur, its soft glow spills across vast green rice fields wrapped in a gentle evening mist. The vibrant green of the young paddy contrasts beautifully with the warm, fading sunlight, creating a dreamlike landscape. Occasional electric pylons stand tall across the fields, their silhouettes adding a quiet, modern touch to the timeless rural scene. The stillness of the moment, with the sky painted in shades of orange and yellow , captures the tranquil soul of Bengal's countryside.
