The street my parents live on in Sequim, WA. Behind those clouds are the Olympic Mountains. Living in Sequim is like living in a postcard.
I learned that this horse is a "Gypsy Vanner." Beautifully groomed and although it doesn't show very well, he has a beautiful moustache!
Tuesday, August 16, 2011 we sailed to Port Angeles, in Washington State, USA, for a two-night visit with friends who live in Sequim, WA. We've been friends with Jay&Suzanne since 1998 but this was our first visit back to their Sequim home since 2005. They are American citizens and live 6-months/per/year here at their Victoria, BC, home. We had a great time. thanks to Jay &suzanne for being our best friends.
One of the highlights of our visit was returning to the The Olympic Discovery Trail
The Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT) traverses over 120 miles of lowlands between the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Currently, 40 miles of paved trail are complete, connecting Blyn on Sequim Bay with the cities of Sequim and Port Angeles. At the ODT's eastern end, an additional 6 miles have been constructed running south from the seaport of Port Townsend.
