My first page for my sequential art class. Not quite sure what I was doing at this point. The idea was to tell a story through pictures and song lyrics. Eventually I opted for single page montages juxtaposed next to the song lyrics on its facing page.

2. Metropolis
This is a demonstration of the creation of spaces through reflection. This picture was taken in Manhattan a couple of years ago; there is no double exposure or image manipulation of any kind. A shop window / showcase is depicted, wherein the designer has placed a quarter globe, which is retro-reflected in the mirrored walls of the showcase. Thus the globe appears twice (on both sides of the showcase), and fully spherical (through reflection in the back wall mirror). Furthermore of interest is the street scene in the background, as reflected in the window of the showcase. Finally, there is an iridescent effect in the color of the globe. The illumination was shifting constantly through a spectrum of color - and this stereo pair was obtained sequentially, so that there is apparent color rivalry on the globe - iridescence.
This was my second project for my Intro. to Digital Systems. It doesn't really do much but I added a little display to my project, it was just my little touch. For the most part everyone else just displayed the state using two LEDs in binary. I found these cool little flat LEDs on a Yellow Tale Wine magazine ad so I adhered them behind each of the state representations. So the current state is illuminated in the diagram when the device is in that state.
