Turkey Vultures have an excellent sense of smell, but Black Vultures aren’t nearly as accomplished sniffers. To find food they soar high in the sky and keep an eye on the lower-soaring Turkey Vultures. When a Turkey Vulture’s nose detects the delicious aroma of decaying flesh and descends on a carcass, the Black Vulture follows close behind (CornellLab).

What a cool scene I sensed here as I turned the corner first. As always, the people were helpful and so very nice. Many are rather curious, or let's put it this way, they pretend to be curious. (¬‿¬)
The composition was already clear to me, as I had already been here the day before and was able to memorize my position well. This photo is perhaps a little more sombre, but on closer inspection, the joy and colors here have by no means disappeared. Because these details, joy and color will always be part of my photos.
I love her art Hania Rani so young and so talented. The song Glass the video ♫ was recorded in Berlin and many sequences were shot in the district where I grew up. Speaking of Berlin, I may soon have something completely new from Berlin in terms of photography. But will that be something for Flickr? I'm not sure yet. Anyway, I won't have much time to share photos anytime soon, but I'll try to keep an eye on your excellent work.

"I think so, too, Shell! The canopy is so magical! I love lace! And the coverlet- oh! It's so dainty!"
"What's this I hear about talking all night, you two?!" I laughed because little bears are always talking. "I think talking through naptime will be enough today!"
Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday!
Earlier in the year, I bought a bunch of "stuff" at the auction we frequent. There were pieces of a little canopy bed, made by The House of Miniatures that I thought was worth a try putting back together. Let me just say that miniatures in ANY sense of the word are difficult and fiddly things! But I learned a lot and managed it! Ken was terrified to see me drilling with the tiniest bit he had!
The original tiny mattress and canopy were an old and dirty fabric. I happened to have one little bit of a vintage fabric that I thought was perfect for the mattress cover, and managed to make a pillow with the remainder. The tiny coverlet here is a dainty vintage lady's handkerchief, and the canopy is a vintage doily.
(I am averaging 1 post for an hour. Ugh. AT&T sucks)

The rage is unnerving. It is, however, understandable. As vicious seizures take over his fragile mind, making sense of it is difficult. No, making sense of it is impossible. He looks at me but cannot see through the bloodied tears running down his face. His involuntary movements and shaking which the seizure causes have caught his own face. Fingernails cutting into his skin. I could not get to cradle and protect him in time to prevent the harm he had caused himself. I reach him and hold him tight. He is shaking violently. He is crying out in pain and distress and is both deafening and frightening. He struggles with cognitive overloading as he recovers, trying to make sense of it. The unspoken question, why? is in those bloodshot eyes. I have no answer, I just hold him. He manages to say 'Help me'.
These attacks are getting worse. I have managed to arrange a neurologist appointment, still a few days away, but hopefully, if the country's industrial action does not stop the consultation, I will have an opportunity to talk through Marc’s decline. I know deep down that there are no answers. Only prayers and the loving support we give as long as we need to.
