The great and the good around 40079 shortly before it uncoupled and ran round its stock. Seminars next to locos were common at the time but not many were this large.
Just as we make the products and services we design easy to use, the UX of UX is about communicating your thinking in a way that ensures that what you've defined is easy to understand for the reader. It's about adapting the work you do to the project in question and finding the right balance of making people want to look through your work whilst not spending unnecessary time on making it pretty.
An addition to two previous seminars taken on this day.
By January, 1992, many of the above were disenchanted with the railway scene in the UK. A lot of folk sought further glee on European railways or just left it alone. The 'grapevine' remained in place and when something unusual presented itself, we were off and running! In this case. some bright spark in one of the air charter companies realised there was spare capacity in the Winter, releasing aircraft to do 'day trips' into Europe! So it was that we found ourselves in places like Gibraltar, Prague, Moscow and in this case, Budapest. (I was unavailable for the Reykjavik trip!)

Many of the covers have a very surrealistic feel—possibly influenced by designer Matthew Leibowitz, a Philadelphia designer who created numerous ads and other works for Sharp and Dohme.
