Perhaps you've heard of this?
There's a hotel in Orlando, the Peabody, which employs/enslaves these ducks to
march in and out of the lobby fountain, which is a remarkably small
fountain for 5 actual ducks to live in all day, on a literal red
carpet, herded along by a red-coated duckmaster, who is indeed a
human and wields a duck-head-handled cane to keep the ducks in line.
This hotel is apparently famous, mostly for its ducks, and Orlando
guidebooks tell of the fascinating duck marches, and people actually
read this, are inspired, and gather for the semidaily duckshow,
taking photographs of the mallard entertainment. Amazing.
