FALL Semester Potluck Fall 2016

Dag 4: Börjar med ett hälsa på på Barnklubben

Each semester the Department of Rhetoric hosts a speech competition, designed to highlight the skills our students have developed as advocates. Two students from each SPCM 007 Public Speaking class are selected from among the best in their classes by their professors and their peers to compete at the end of the semester. Students deliver their speeches (informative or persuasive) in rounds, and are evaluated by judges. The following week, the top six students deliver their speeches publicly in a showcase round, and a top speaker is selected. People from the campus and the community are invited.

The nominees competed in two separate rounds, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. The top six speakers selected will be invited to participate in the final round on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, during Common Hour.
