¿Os imagináis si vierais vuestro pueblo inundando por un pantano, arrasado por una carretera, pisoteado por una excavación? Y lo peor, ¿que pasasen los años y nadie tuviera un recuerdo, un detalle, un reconocimiento para que ese nombre no se perdiera?
Y eso es lo mas bonito de todo, que un grupo de personas decidieron que sus hijos, sus nietos, sus biznietos y en adelante, el nombre de Argusino no se borre de la historia, como agua que destruye todo a su paso.
50 años han pasado desde que vidas y recuerdos quedaron sellados bajo el pantano de la Almendra. Argusino fué un pueblo de Zamora borrado del mapa. El agua lo hizo desaparecer, pero no su memoria.
Pues Argusino ya es mas que un pueblo bajo el agua, es un sentimiento.
Y esta foto, es mi homenaje para los que quedaron bajo el agua del embalse, pero por encima de todo, para sus descendientes, para que cuando vean los arboles, sepan que son las raices que nunca se podrán quebrar... y que cada piedra te va contando
como los separaron de sus raíces, como los echaron de su pueblo sin poder mirar atrás, como es tener un pueblo sin tenerlo..
Así se vé,pero no como se siente, porque Argusino está, Argusino habla, porque Argusino vive..

Trader on his mobile shop; selling brooms and wicker ware from his customised moped with front loading bay, roof and display rails. He was plying the Klong Toei district next to the port and kindly granted a shot. But i think he wasn't quite sure what to make of the foreigner bending down to get a low viewpoint at his fantastic display :)
