I took this picture at seljalandsfoss still wet after my rainbow picture from Skogarfoss.
I worked this Seljalandsfoss picture in 2 ways. One in Color and one BW.
I need to decide on wich is best.
HEEEEELP! :)
Seljalandsfoss waterfall
A group of people are having the experience of walking behind the waterfall.
Probably a good experience but a freezing and total shower is guaranteed.

Normally it is possible to walk behind the waterfall but the path was closed due to ice. Next time....

The Seljalandsfoss is one of Iceland's prettiest easy accessible waterfalls. The fall of the river Seljalandsá tumble over a rocky scarp (the cliffs of the former coastline) more than 60 metres deep into a green pool. A path runs around the back of the fall, so a walk behind the Seljalandsfoss is a pretty wet experience.
A shot of the famous Seljalandsfoss. It was a lot more touristy than it seems on social media. Taking this picture took more than a bit of patience and jockeying — and I still had to airbrush out selfie-taking tourists.
This High Dynamic Range image was tone-mapped from five hand-held bracketed photographs with Photomatix, processed with Color Efex, then touched up in Affinity Photo and Aperture.

Kvernufoss is the lesser-known neighbour of Skógafoss. While the latter is terribly crowded, you can still spend some time alone at the former. As with Seljalandsfoss, there is a path behind the waterfall, which can also be walked in winter with the appropriate equipment. The grotto behind the waterfall is often completely frozen over by the spray when it is frosty. The view goes out through the Kvernugil to the coast.
Going through some archives on a dreary morning. Southern Iceland's spectacular Seljalandsfoss, from behind the falls. This was September 2010. Hard to believe it was so long ago now. I keep saying how I want to go back to shoot some more. I should just pull the trigger on a flight and head over for a few days ...
Explored. :)
