Thank you for your interest in my artwork. I have been selling online for nearly 10 years and I absolutely love it! It has allowed me to sell my original paintings and prints to thousands of collectors worldwide. I have a Masters degree in Fine Art from The University of Tampa, but consider myself self-taught. True talent is revealed not through schooling but through painting.
Rather old photo from summer 2013 when I went to '50s fashion exhibition in Riga and took some photos there. Dresses there were wonderful of course, and I like how this photo came out with my reflection in the mirror among all the dresses.
Selfreflection in Amsterdam. Taken with a Sony HX200V. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
This month I am celebrating my 7th Flickr Birthday...I would have never thought that this thing would be so much fun and have such an influence on my life when I opened my account in 2006. I want to thank all of you lovely people for making it such a great experience, and of course also a big thank you to the Interwebs for offering such interesting ways to share part of our lives with the rest of the world...on to the next 7 years :)
'Like' me on Facebook :)
No photoshop treatment ( the blurr was due to the car movement and the light was just like that) The mirror wasn't very clean, neither...
Sin retoques ni efecto photoshop. el 'desenfoque' se debe a la mucha luz y al movimiento del coche. El espejo tampoco estaba muy limpio...

Slightly edited phone cam Selfportrait, shot with the timer of my mobile, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my C905 mobile phone. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
Today is my 4th Flickr Birthday, yay! 4 years ago I've uploaded my first shot to Flickr and I never regretted it, manymany good things have happened to me, I've met manymany very nice people online and offline, I've been part of Exhibitions, Museum-events, fashion photo shoots and many other wicked, exciting things because of this lovely website, and I would not want to miss a second of the fun :))
Thank you all so much for making this possible, without you, this would just be another narcissistic, glossy show-off site, a foolish instrument and playground for vain, spoiled people who can't stop posting their ohsopwetty self portraits to the InterWebs, haha ;-D
Have a wonderful day, there's some Champagne over there by the buffet, help yourself!
Photo captured at Moonstone Beach in the census-designated place of Westhaven-Moonstone. Humboldt County. Mid August 2013.
Why are you always upside down? Just when you think everything is facing straight ahead you end up tilted. The story of my life.
This photo is SOOC too.
Photo captured via Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D AF Nikkor lens at a cattle ranch on Old Samoa Road in the city of Arcata. Humboldt County. Early October 2013.
((see pic below for where this poor Monarch was before this shot))
After a bit, I took a stick and I broke the spider web and freed the Monarch butterfly from the web. I picked him up and gently removed as much sticky web stuff from him as I could. At first he just lay down on this stump as seen here...but then he started to fly around just a little bit. So I hope he is okay..the 2nd shot of him added to this image, was him up and about walking. The nature center was closing and I prayed the Monarch would survive. However, I began to feel a little bit like maybe I shouldn't have interfered with the ways of Nature...So I think in the future if confronted with similar situation I will not tamper with nature again...
Today is her birthday. She is truly the most beautiful person I know in this world. I was testing out the lighting for some romantic kissing shots, but this one of her came out the best.
This one happened around 2 am, but I'm still going strong. Besides, she'd never let me get away with doing this project for only 3 days.
As former president Teddy Roosevelt puts it...behold it is the "Eighth Wonder of the World." The water originates from underground springs above and at the falls. Even during the dry summer months and at 129 feet in height, the water provides an almost constant flow rate of 100 million U.S. gallons / day. Photo of Burney Falls captured via the HDR method of photography from McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park in Shasta County. Northern California. On the last day of 2012.
Photo captured along a cattle ranch in the town of Orick and near Redwood National Park. Humboldt County. Late August 2013.
playing with that odd 'double reflection' thing that happens in some windows. taken with canon G12 in low light
summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends
ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began
wake me up when September ends
here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are
as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when September ends

Self - portrait. This is my new stream. Some of you may remember me. I can't seem to stay away. This time around, flickr will be reserved for my best work. I'm not going to post just for the sake of posting anymore. I also won't be adding everyone as a contact just because they added me or commented on my stream. I'm going to be very selective about who I associate with. If you like what you see, by all means comment. If you want to add me as a contact, I ask that you shoot me a message telling me what it is that brought you to me. How did you find me? What is it that you like about my stream? Introduce yourself and I will have a look at your stream and profile.
Thanks.
For FGR - Self Reflection
I believe we all have gifts we were born with. My gift is my hands. I am a massage therapist and can do wonders because of this gift.
This isn't really the shot I wanted, but I couldn't get my desired results, so I just threw this one together.
P.S. There is a cool little (accidental) image in the background that represents us, can you find it?
The veranda/terrace (beach towels and all) that was part of our apartment in Elounda as reflected through the glass light covering :o)
Taking a walk in Marin. The area is beautiful with so many natural areas of hills and trees.

I saw you gather all your hopes
With all your dreams
I waved just like a shooting star
That once had waved to me
I am a lover in mid air
I think about it i don't care
Into the fire of despair
Just like a train that goes nowhere
But you can rain on me
Yeah you can rain, rain on me
Cyndi Lauper
I've always loved the rain. Everything about it. The smell, the feel, the sense of oneness with nature as she renews herself. We had just come home from my cousin's graduation when the rain came. I started setting up my tripod. My aunt and uncle just quietly went inside without a word. They knew to let me be. I let the rain soak into my skin as the dog watched from the garage.
“My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all.” - John Lennon
Know a lot of people going through a lot of things, just want you all to know that your never alone, and though I may not always be around, i'm here whenever you need me.
