Cloe is fitting right in with the guys and gals of J.Garibay.

I'm actually really happy with this new Bratz update. The dolls are cute, the webshow is cute, I love all of it. Cloe right off the bat was the one I really wanted and I'm not sure if I might invest on the rest of the girls. If anything I might just purchase all the Cloe dolls in every wave. It makes me sad that they have no articulation on the arms, but no worries, I popped her head onto a Madeline Hatter EAH doll. I found that she's a match for Cloe's skin tone. And anther thing, I'm sad that I didn't notice that on her left eyebrow she's chipped so I'm probably going to invest on another one with a perf face, and use this one for a OOAK project or something. Overall, Bratz, you girls know what's up. Haha

I originally didn't want to repaint my Study Abroad Jade since she was a gift from MGA and I wanted to keep her as is...but I was already tempted to turn her into Sharidan when I first unpacked her. However, as more time went on, I decided that this version of Jade would actually make a pretty good 2k15 embodiment of Bratz Twiinz Peyton!

Peyton's outfit is a beanie from the True Hope Yasmin, Strut It! Meygan's pink top (being used as a dress aha...), and HMIS Jade's pink boots.

While I anticipate the new releases...

Top five winners for the year of 2015 are:

SelfieSnaps Cloe

Moschino Barbie Doll

Tiffany Adams(ITBE Doll)

Alistair Wonderland

Francie Fairchild(LA Girl Fashionista)

great! I just got wave 1 and now theres a fudgin wave 2? great! honestly, rayas mumy favorite and probably wilk buy her first depending on alexs review

and I hope this time cloes not wearing a sweater. lord knows.

yasmin looks better than wave 1, I have to say.

I couldn't resist buying the new signature wave of Bratz dolls for 2015. I like how these ladies were advertised on all the 2015 box art! Interestingly though, I think the #SelfieSnaps line became the iconic one of its time. When I think of 2015 Bratz, I don't automatically think of the Hello My Name Is dolls. I was super tempted to get these beauties back in July 2015 when I bought my #SelfieSnaps dolls, but I somehow resisted the urge. Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, and Meygan are all from the 5 Pack. I chose to picture my separately sold Jade with the line instead of my pack girl...what can I say, I like her better?! I think her side cut has really cool stage presence, not that the pack girly isn't equally adorable. Initially I didn't have plans to buy this entire line. There were so many awesome dolls available, and I wasn't sure who would go on sale. I did know that I wanted Jade, Raya, and Cameron. The rest seemed a bit plainer compared to the other options at stores.

I didn't know MGA was even going to make a Hello My Name Is pack, until I accidentally saw it on the Toys 'R' Us website one day, while doing some light browsing. I just about died from happiness when I realized Meygan was back! She is definitely my favorite "background" character in the Bratz franchise. I owned a Meygan doll growing up before I even had a Cloe! She's really adorable, and I think the 2015 proportions and styling really suit her. I'm really glad I was able to get this pack on sale, because my collection just wouldn't have been complete without it! It also worked out in my favor that I had not bought any of the other dolls prior. That way I had an "excuse" to pounce on this gift set. In previous years, I may not have been so patient, and then I would have had store bought duplicates. The only duplicated doll I have is Jade, since she is a variant. The pack lady is cute, but doesn't sport the same edgy side cut. Plus, I really loved Jade's accessories--those adorable little shears! The rest of the dolls' accessories would have been cool to get, but I would have rather gotten Meygan. So it was a perfect trade off in the end. I used a coupon to get Miss Jade, since I couldn't justify splurging full price on a doll I technically already had.

Cameron and Raya are just as awesome as the other dolls. They were pretty tricky to find where I live--I rarely saw them stores. Luckily I got mine for 50% off online on Veteran's Day 2015. A few years after acquiring my dolls though, I did see a few Cameron dolls warming Toys 'R' Us shelves on sale. It seemed as though he wasn't a popular doll, and when he was stocked, he didn't really move. I was so excited that MGA brought Cameron back--the Bratz Boyz mean the world to me! My life would only have been more complete if they made Cam fashion packs...I'm a hoarder when it comes to doll clothes.

As you can see, I took some artistic liberties with accessorizing my ladies. I made Jade earrings since her factory ones didn't fit and almost broke. I love it when I can't use factory earrings though...it's an excuse to bust out my jewelry making supplies and get creative! Raya has polymer clay hamburger earrings for the same reason Jade needed handmade ones. I know they are ridiculously huge, but I love making food out of clay. I like Raya's outfit the best out of all of these because she has burger shoes. I hate hamburgers actually (vegetarian speaking), but they were my sister's favorite food, so I can just picture her as a Bratz doll wearing this outfit and snacking on a burger, while drinking a Pepsi.

Cloe and Yasmin have hair accessories I made. I fell in love with the flower crown advertised on Yasmin's box art, so I decided to make my own version. I've seen a lot of other people's takes on this headband too. MGA probably should have made her one. I always make flower crowns for my dolls, especially my Moxie Girlz, so Yasmin's was fun to put together. I actually bought some special flowers for her hair piece, since I didn't have tons of purple flowers already. Cloe's headband is just a scrap piece of fabric I had lying around--I thought it would look cute, and would resemble her box art.

I feel bad that Sasha and Meygan got left out when it came to the handmade accessories, but I just love their outfits so much, that they usually steal the show on display anyways! Sasha has my second favorite outfit, after Raya's. I think she is almost as pretty as #SelfieSnaps Sasha. I think #SelfieSnaps has a leg up on Hello My Name Is due to her colorful hair!

Picked up these beauties today as early birthday gifts to myself. But I seriously cannot get over how amazing all the new Bratz are! This is definitely the first of many more hauls to come. :)

This is a simple tutorial about how I make basic earrings for dolls. I also show the way that I fit these earrings to the dolls' ears, whether they are fashion dolls or American Girl dolls. I personally love making doll earrings--it is my favorite creative outlet! There are so many different styles of earrings you can make, and a variety of supplies that you can re-purpose! The only limit is your imagination!!! I apologize for the first few grainy/blurry closeups. I had never previously filmed such a tiny/detail oriented tutorial, so my camera and I "argued" a lot while I was trying to film it. In the future, if I figure out how to focus my camera better (or if I end up with a camera that is better suited for this kind of tutorial), I will make a new tutorial with better quality footage. But I hope that this is helpful nonetheless. If you would like to get ideas for handmade earrings, check out my albums page.

This is part two of my Cloe collection. This video features all my Cloe dolls from 2007 to 2015. Although this isn't the generation of Cloe dolls that I grew up with, these dolls have come to mean just as much to me. In fact, some of the most special Cloe dolls in my collection are featured in this video! I love all of these dolls so much, so I had so much fun making this video. I hope you enjoy!

My sister and I never anticipated that we'd come home with another massive lot of dolls this year! As it was, we already had scored several lots of Barbie dolls (two of them happened to be from this same seller). But for $15, we couldn't say know to a bunch of mangy Barbies who were in need of a home. We already had most of the dolls from this lot, but there were a few who I had REALLY been wanting, like Hollywood Nails Teresa. I used to have a Hollywood Nails Teresa when I was younger--she was also a secondhand doll, who came without her original outfit. But sadly, when I was about eight years old, I gave away many of my Barbies, and Miss Teresa was one of them. I've been trying to track another one down ever since, and I finally got the chance on Sunday. We decided to name this lot after her. Most of the dolls did not have clothes on when we got them, but there were a few outfits (we undressed all of the dolls for identification, thus why they are nude in this photo). In all, we got 64 dolls in one lot. We also got a container stuffed with tons and tons of Barbie shoes from the same seller, but I didn't picture it here, since there was no room!

That's right, we also found a second lot the same day, which was in a pink, metal trunk. The trunk contained about nine 80s Barbies (sadly, 3 of them had horrible haircuts, so they became body donors). Despite the hair cut situation, these 80s dolls are really nice for their age, and if you don't know it already, the 80s is my favorite Barbie decade to collect...that's why I have to hoard them. #SelfieSnaps Photobooth Cloe I purchased separately from the same seller I got my Martina McBride doll from last weekend. She was wearing her full outfit when I found her (but like I said, I undressed the dollies for inventory purposes and baths). It's so sad to see that some of the 2015 Bratz have already been cast aside by their original owners...I also spotted some Study Abroad dolls at a different table.

The holiday season tends to bring out the very best in every one because we are all so willing to be grateful and generous this time of year. The sad part of this ideology though is that we somehow tend to overlook the rest of the year. Life is truly precious, and it should never go unappreciated or uncelebrated. My personal philosophy these past few years has been to live every day with as much appreciation and happiness as I am capable of. It's certainly not always easy to do, but I've definitely found that my dolls have helped me along the way. They remind me every day of how blessed I truly am and have been, and they inspire me to continue to live life with a smile.

My dolls have given me a new found appreciation for all the people in my life. Five years ago, when I started collecting them again, I expected to be questioned, or even ridiculed by my father. I didn't think he would understand or support my decision. Most of all, I feared he would think I was "too old" for them. When I finally mustered the courage to renew my doll hobby, I was pleasantly surprised by my dad's reaction. Contrary to what I thought, my dad welcomed the idea with open arms and an open heart. In fact, he was just as interested in my dolls as I was. He was always offering to go on doll hunts, make me new shelves, rearrange my room, and design doll stands. He showed an interest in all the things I was creating for my dolls, and he was always so complimentary. My sister was equally supportive and interested as I knew she would be. Whenever I look at my dolls, I always remember which ones Dad bought me, the ones he surprised me with, the ones he remembered the names of or poked fun at, and the time he invested in my hobby. The same can be said about all the dolls that remind me of my sister. I've also come to realize just how many people in general are so supportive and interested in my doll hobby. Whether it's someone admiring my displays and complimenting them, or my aunt who helped me make doll earrings, or my uncle who built my massive Bratz shelf, or all the people who are so sweet and have given me dolls, all the love and time other people have invested in me truly amazes me. It's overwhelming when I see just how much I am loved and appreciated. It touches my heart that so many people want to know more about my dolls, or are so willing to contribute in some way.

My dolls have also helped me see that time is a gift that should never be wasted. I didn't know that a year after I started collecting dolls again, that I would lose my father. I had spent many of the previous years pretending not to like dolls because I was embarrassed by them. Words cannot express how grateful I am that dolls reemerged into my life at the time they did. They made my last year with Dad so much more enjoyable. When I first brought my dolls out of storage in 2011, they brought so much happiness with them. The last year with Dad was the hardest one of my life, but it also holds some of my most cherished memories. Colleen, Dad, and I spent our weekends roaming the flea markets scouring for dolls. I remember that we spent many afternoons brooding about how we could somehow fit more shelves for dolls in my room. I dedicated a large portion of my time to doll related projects such as stands and paintings. Dad and Colleen were always so curious about my creations, and always had helpful suggestions and ideas to contribute. There was also the time my Beautiful Hair Ariel's leg broke, and Dad spent a long time in Home Depot looking at various supplies, trying to come up with a way to fix her. Colleen and I started identifying our dolls and their possessions back then, and there were days we entirely dedicated to the quest. What I have come to realize is that it was my early days collecting dolls that have given them so much meaning to me. If I had chosen not to unbury my doll hobby back then, Dad would never have been part of it, and my dolls wouldn't hold the same signifigance to me. Dolls have put time into perspective for me--I spent most of my teenage years scorning them and not being true to myself, which in turn has made me realize that time should never be wasted, but always appreciated.

It's truly amazing how much joy my dolls have filled my life with. They also touched my dad and my sister's lives. We were all inspired by them in a beautiful way. Dad began collecting toy trucks not long after my dolls returned. He even started to repair and repaint many of them. Colleen's love of reading also grew--she became obsessed with tracking down new books and authors to indulge in. The happiness and inspiration that my dolls possessed was truly contagious. But most of all, I think my dolls touched my life. They made me accept who I am, and to love myself for the first time in my life. I liked who I became when dolls rejoined my life. I felt inspired, motivated, creative, dedicated, and passionate. Most of all, I just appreciated feeling something other than emptiness. They helped me find confidence--I realized that if it didn't matter when people laughed at my dolls, why should it ever bother me when someone else casts judgement on me? It occurred to me that I could do anything I put my mind to, whether it was doll related or not. All of these positive emotions didn't just apply to my dolls, but also to every aspect of my life, and for that I am so grateful. I also came to see through my dolls that life is truly all about perception. I found that if I put my energy towards finding things I liked about a doll, rather than disliked, I was a much happier, more fulfilled person. I started to apply that ideology to the rest of my life, and I haven't looked back since. Life will certainly always "hand me lemons" but it is up to me to decide what to do with it, and how I perceive it.

It astounds me all the ways my dolls have taught me to be more grateful. My dolls remind me every day that I am a truly lucky person. They hold my last memories of my father and my childhood close to me, and in turn, I feel like I can better appreciate all the other things I've been so privileged to have. Dolls have shown me that I am capable of creating my own happiness because I can chose to to smile no matter what happens to me in life. They have made me thankful for just being myself--I realized through them that I didn't want to be anyone else or trade lives with them. They have made me see that I have had so many things in my life all along that I chose to overlook and not be grateful for. Every day I am thankful for all 2,400 plus of my dolls, my lovely house (which somehow fits all my dolls), my two lovable cats, my two adorable guinea pigs, my health, the food I get to eat every day, the warm bed I sleep in every night, my entire family, the time I got to spend with my mom and dad, and most of all my sister, who I'd be entirely lost without. There will always be rainy days or times I want to crawl into a hole and disappear, but at the end of the day, I will always find a way to smile. There is always a reason to wake up in the morning, whether it is for something as simple as a warm breakfast, a song on the radio, a pet, or a bunch of plastic dolls. I will always try to make the most of this life I am so lucky to have. My dolls have taught me that it is so important to to appreciate what you have while you have it, because at any moment, it could all disappear. So that is what I try to do--I try to never go to bed angry, to take a moment every day to soak it in, and most importantly, to tell the people I love how I feel, that I am grateful for them, and that I appreciate all the things they do. I truly believe that every day should be Thanksgiving, because today is the only day we are guaranteed, and we are all so lucky to have it.

Most of the dolls featured in my 2014 photo of this shelf are still here. Although, the Tokyo a Go-Go people all moved onto the other shelving unit in a different room (no worries, I still have them!). I think what makes the largest difference is simply the number of dolls I crammed onto these shelves over the years. It's probably better for me in terms of space that I don't find Bratz all that often (maybe a couple of stragglers a year if I'm lucky). I have always kept my childhood Xpress It ladies (and their adult purchased counterparts) here in my bedroom. They've also always been on the right side of the shelving unit. That's because I organized the standing dolls from oldest to newest on the bottom shelf--starting with the 1st Editions, and ending with my 2018 Collector dolls. Back in 2011, when Dad built me these shelves, I had room for other lines like Pretty 'N' Punk and Wintertime Wonderland. But they now reside in the other room, with dolls that go better with their themes. The majority of the dolls here fall into either the basic fashion Bratz category or a family/twin pack of sorts. I do have a few filler dolls too of course (like Funk 'N' Glow and #SelfieSnaps because they are so iconic to me). I'm impressed that I have any space at all given how many dolls are in my collection. I think my favorite part of this photo/display has to be the twin/sister portion of the topmost shelf. Ever since I dabbled into Bratz again in 2011, I dreamed of having all of the twin and family sets. While I still don't have every one made, it's still cool seeing the ones I've amassed over the years all together. Granted, some dolls like Lana and Alicia are missing their clothes. But I am so happy and grateful they are part of the family!

no more until my next paycheck 😅

this fashion pack is beyond cute! none of the items are sewn together, they are 3 separate pieces, hell yeah! the overalls are sosososo cute i'm living for them i really am, and the top underneath is actually a super hot tight black dress! my girls are going to be serving looks with these pieces! and cloe is beautiful i adore her, her accessories are too die for!

Every store I went too did not have anything Bratz out on the floor, but luckily they had them in the back and I was able to get a few of my favorites, plus Selfie Snaps Cloe which I forgot to include in the photo! No fashion packs as of yet in any of the stores I went too though :|

unintentional rhyme its selfie time!

After seeing @sailorb1959 photos of Selfiesnaps Cloe, I was really inspired to cut some bangs on mine. I'm actually happy with the way they turned out for my first time cutting bangs. #Bratz #livingforthesebangs 💇💋

MANUFACTURER: M.G.A.

DOLLS IN LINE: Cloe; Yasmin; Jade; Sasha

PERSONAL FUN FACT: Cloe has one of my favorite looks from the #SelfieSnaps line. Of course, I am rather biased, since I consider her to be the "iconic" doll of this generation. I was curious to know what Bratz MGA were secretly conspiring to release, and on one of my internet searches I found leaked images of Cloe. Ever since then, she has represented this era of Bratz to me. Anyways, the most played with item here has to be her glasses. Colleen and I use them all the time for Colleen's "mini me" who appears on our Youtube channel and in photos. She's really just my woe begone Pampered Pupz Charli rocking these large spectacles! These glasses are enormous, and take up about half of Cloe's face. So you can imagine how much larger they look on the 2001 head sculpt, which is notably smaller. Besides the glasses, I love the look of this slouchy sweater and the beanie. The hat is also over sized...it's almost too big for Cloe's super inflated head believe it or not! The print of this skirt is surprisingly floral...it feels a little out of place compared to the other pieces. But I personally like the way it clashes. But the next best piece besides the specs would have to be these shoes. OMG they have wings...enough said! I also appreciate that MGA went all out and gave the dolls extra accessories, including a variety of phone cases for Cloe to choose from. My phone case of choice would be the piggy one!

MISSING ITEMS: Photo Booth, crown, bunny ears, mustache stick, lip stick, 4 masks

PERSONAL FUN FACT: It's kind of a bummer that my Cloe didn't come with her photobooth or any of her other accessories. But I guess I really don't have tons of space to store playsets (although I'm sure I would have had a blast playing around with a photobooth). What was really important was Miss Cloe's outfit--and that I was lucky enough to get on my doll. In fact, had she not been wearing this when I found her at my local flea market, I probably would have assumed that she was just another regular #SelfieSnaps Cloe (I adore the regular #SelfieSnaps Cloe too, but I probably wouldn't have paid a few dollars for a naked one). This outfit is super cute, and I think it fits Cloe's personal aesthetic! Cloe is known for her love of animal print, and how could she not be obsessed with these super tight, zebra print pants??? I'm glad that the 2015 Bratz have articulated knees, because that makes them so much easier to put pants on. I remember spending a long time struggling with my 2004 Wild Life Safari! Nevra doll's pants when I was a kid. They refused to go over her rubbery, bend and snap legs. Even with oodles of baby powder, they still are a bit of a chore to get on. Luckily for Photobooth Cloe, her pants glide on and off in seconds. Plus, I love how form fitting they are. Cloe's t-shirt is adorable too--I love how the red lip design on it matches the red stitching on her pants. The highlighter yellow/green color of it really stands out, and in a weird way, compliments Cloe's cotton candy colored hair (which is probably my favorite feature about my doll). Her shoes match the top, and are very casual. I like how versatile they are, yet how funky colored they are!

DOLLS IN LINE: Cloe; Yasmin; Jade; Sasha

PERSONAL FUN FACT: I wasn't so sure how I felt about Yasmin's outfit when this line first hit stores in July of 2015. Compared to Sasha, Jade, and Cloe's outfits, hers seemed a bit odd. Plus, it didn't have that signature bohemian vibe that I was so used to seeing on Yasmin. But in the years since buying Yas, I must say that this outfit has grown to be really iconic to me. I like how all the dolls from the line have shirts that say "Selfie"--it might be literal, but I do think it's vain enough to fit their bratty attitudes. Yasmin's skirt is so adorable--I've never seen anything like it. I love that it is floral print on the first layer, but a denim on the bottom layer. The flowers remind me a lot of 2012 Strut It! Yasmin's dress (which is one of my personal fave Bratz ensembles). Yasmin's floppy faux suede hat is very boho now that I think about it. Not only that, but it is really on point with the trend of that summer. One of the coolest things about the #SelfieSnaps dolls in general was all the accessories they were packaged with. I could not get over how many goodies Yasmin was boxed with. She has a bag (albeit a plastic one--I do prefer fabric bags a bit more), jewelry, sunglasses, lipstick, and my favorite accessories, her phone and cases. What kind of a selfie taking Bratz doll would Yasmin be if she were not fully equipped with a cellphone and decorative, interchangeable cases? I think that this was such a cool idea--removable phone cases. Plus it adds a deeper level of realism, especially since cellphones are so important in today's society! I really love her froggy one especially!

Just my new Cloe taking some selfies. Usual stuff...

DOLLS IN LINE: "Bedtime" Skipper & baby pack; "Feeding" Skipper & baby pack

BODY TYPE: 2010; GHV88; molded Skipper print panties; straight, non-bending legs; flat feet

HEAD MOLD: 2016 "Babysitters Inc"

PERSONAL FUN FACT written by my sister: This lovely lady was sitting on top of a pile of dollies on the elderly couple's table at our local flea market in August 2021. I saw her and I knew, "I MUST take her home." Shelly next unearthed the "Stroller" doll as well. I was pretty sure the "Stroller" Skipper was wearing what COULD be her right outfit (the fact that the color of the smile on her shirt matched the color of the skirt should have been a clue, right?), but POSITIVE of two things. First, obviously that I simply MUST HAVE this Skipper and, secondly, that she was in the right outfit. Why, you ask, was I so positive that this outfit had to be hers? I couldn't lay my finger on it at the time, but literally a week later, we stopped at Walmart after THAT flea market adventure, and Shelly spotted this girl on Walmart's shelves. HOW SAD IS THAT? This poor creature is still on Walmart shelves, and yet she was turfed from somebody's home like old news. Sadly, we see this all the time...Life in the Dreamhouse Barbie, a Bitty Baby who couldn't have been more than two years old, #SelfieSnaps Photo Booth Cloe...these are just the first three examples that came to mind. I could keep going, listing dolls that I saw or bought secondhand when they were still on store shelves in some locations. And I'm not talking the dolls who are still boxed that people scoop up on clearance and flip. No, I mean people's discarded Christmas gifts and such--dolls that were deboxed and sort of played with. If for no other reason, I'm glad I rescued this lovely lady. But I have loads of other reasons. Essentially, she's more or less the same as the "Stroller" and "Feeding" dolls I got from the same sellers. (The "Feeding" doll was a find earlier in the same season.) But something about that high ponytail and this super modern pajama look REALLY gets me. This doll is one that, even at the height of snobbery/pickiness, I could never have pretended not to like. She is absolutely perfect and I'm so glad she's mine! Honestly? If these get marked down at Walmart for a really good price, I'd buy another just because I love the Babysitters Inc. line so much and they have the best accessories!

BOX DATE: 2015

MANUFACTURER: M.G.A.

DOLLS IN LINE: Cloe; Yasmin; Jade; Sasha

PERSONAL FUN FACT: Sasha might have my favorite look overall for this line. Of course, that is subject to change based on my mood on any given day. Anyways, these 2015 dolls are certainly much more colorful and childlike than Bratz of the past. But that is something I've come to appreciate about this era (although I'm glad the 2020s dolls have gone back to their roots). All of these garments are very well made. The shoes are especially outstanding. They make 2001 era footwear look teeny tiny. I love how M.G.A exaggerated the proportions of the 2015 dolls with even larger heads and shoes. The work boot mold is darling...definitely something I would have enjoyed playing with as a kid. The skirt is also super unique with the rainbow colors and plaid tie. The tie sort of looks like a shirt that's been wrapped around the skirt....what a cool effect. There is even a faux zipper that runs up it. These dolls certainly don't lack details. And of course I cannot forget to mention the plethora of extra goodies you get, like the cellphone, cases, makeup, purse, etc. This doll has so much play value...even if you are just setting up photos!

PERSONAL FUN FACT: My very first 2015 Bratz were the #SelfieSnaps dolls. Typically, I'm not the sort of person to anticipate the release of new dolls. I'm the kind of collector who is usually preoccupied waiting for shelf warmers to go on sale. But with Bratz dolls, I guess I am a bit different. I don't have to get the new thing when it comes out, but I do get excited when I see pictures of the freshly released Bratz floating around on the internet. You can imagine why after an entire year without Bratz dolls I'd be so inclined to run out and get them the first opportunity I had. In 2014, MGA took Bratz off store shelves to revamp the Bratz line. Their new looks would debut in the summer of 2015. At first, I handled the lack of Bratz like trooper, but in time, I grew to really miss seeing my large headed friends in stores. Then around June 2015, pictures of some of the 2015 dolls got leaked on various blogs and other social media. This sent me into a Bratz craving frenzy. So when July 2015 rolled around, Colleen and I planned to go out on the Bratz debut date, and get at least one doll. The plan had been to buy only #SelfieSnaps Jade. But what can I say, I'm a Bratz addict. Yasmin, Cloe, and of course Sasha all found their way to the register with me and Jade. I figured if I splurged on one line of Bratz, that I'd be able to hold off until the other lines went on good sales (that ended up paying off). Yasmin was initially my least favorite from the set. She wasn't as iconic seeming as Cloe (whose leaked image was the first 2015 Bratz I saw), as unique looking as Sasha, nor as compelling as Jade. She didn't look or feel enough like the Yasmin dolls I grew up with, so while I thought she was super cute, I just didn't connect with her as deeply as I did with the other dolls from her line. But as the days turned into weeks, and I took the time to admire her on my Bratz shelf daily, I started to get obsessed. Maybe it's that "I've been in the monkey house too long" effect. But more than likely, I think it's just a case of I needed a little extra time to warm up to her recreated look. I wouldn't say Yasmin is my favorite from the #SelfieSnaps line (Jade still holds that title to this day), but she is definitely on equal footing with Sasha and Cloe. What I love the most about this cutie is the pink highlights streaked throughout her light brown hair. She reminds me in a strange way of my beloved childhood Salon Surprise Barbie, who has similarly placed pink streaks. I've really grown to love Yas's enlarged, innocent, cartoon like expression, and I'm so glad she is part of my collection. She will always have a special place in my heart, because she was one of the first 2015 dolls I owned, and represented a new beginning for not only Bratz, but also my doll collection!

And another thing, I'm sad that I didn't notice that on her left eyebrow she's chipped so I'm probably going to invest on another one with a perf face, and use this one for a OOAK project or something. Overall, Bratz, you girls know what's up. Haha

PERSONAL FUN FACT: Besides Sasha, Jade has my favorite #SelfieSnaps ensemble. I might like it a tad more than Bunny Boo's...but it really depends on my mood. This outfit is so perfect for Jade's personal aesthetic. It's edgy, quirky, and pushes the envelope. I especially adore her tight fitting camouflage pants. The suspenders remind me of Funk Out Dana's clothes. Interestingly, they are attached to the shirt, instead of the pants. They don't actually function and hold the pants up. The just sort of dangle from Jade's shoulders. There are lots of little details on the pants, besides the awesome print: denim knee patches, faux zippers, and a button. The choice of a pink shirt to go with these green pants seems like it would clash. It reminds me of how 2002 Xpress It! Jade came with a red faux leather skirt, to be worn with a light blue t-shirt. The 2015 shoes are EVERYTHING!!! I love how M.G.A. went back to their roots with Bratz and gave the dolls large shoes. As time progressed in the 2000s, they seemed to have smaller and smaller feet. For the redesign, M.G.A. embraced "go big or go home." The shoes make the 2001 ones look tiny, and the dolls also acquired inflated head molds. That's why Jade's hat is so enormous. I think it's cute how it has cat ears, and how her sunglasses have whiskers. There are little hints of her nickname Kool Kat to be found everywhere!

I actually really didn't like this girl for so so long. I think her skirt frustrated me as it doesn't match with the rest of her outfit. I did love her top and shoes though, and her face is quite lovely. Plus, she was 50%, so I had to get her :P

I was planning on getting Metallic Madness Jade, but her face was very 2D and lacking, so I left her.

So i got selfiesnaps cloe and yasmin, I was going to get cloe and jade but this is really the only yasmin face I like ATM, and I prefer Hmni jade anyway, didn't find any more Sasha tho:(, but I'm going to probs get her on Amazon anyway:)
