The tympanum of the Cathédrale Saint-Lazare. Seen here is, what is widely believed to be the signature of the carver. "Gislebertus hoc fecit" - "Gislebertus has made this". 12th-century-signatures are a pretty rare, "artists" were unknown, carvers were skilled, highly specialised workers. So there are doubts, that the name "Gislebertus" may not been the carver´s name, but the the name of the donor or the sponsor of the tympanum, who paid the worker(s). That would explain that the name is placed centrally under Christ´s feet. But I have to admit, that the idea of a gifted carver, an artist with the name Gislebertus, who signed his name proudly and selfconfident below Christ´s feet, is the nicest one. By far!

I finally finished my OOAK Elsa called "The cold anyway".
In this one scene, where Elsa frees herself from all the burdens, she is selfconfident and finally amazed of herself and what she´s capable of. Not only the cold doesn´t bother her, but also what other people will think of her. She finally can be herself and she´s not scared anymore. At least for this one short moment. I designed my Elsa doll exactly after this one moment, when she looks at the audience telling them, that she does not care, that she likes it like this....that the cold never bothered her anyway. I wanted to capture exactly this look I with my doll.
Full facial repaint, applied real eyelashes, hair dyed and restyled, handsewn gown, custom shoes.

Here I am in my Art Lady Apron (dog pattern with vintage lace trim), my "good" Cowboy hat (with the fun scarf and mandatory tiara), my swag-decorated 2013 Paper Cowgirl Name Tag, and a new outfit (a skirt!!!!).
