Day 8.

Today I feel like reflecting... yet on what I do not know. Perhaps the words of "The Jabberwocky"... oh yes I do think so...

"Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;

All mimsy were the borogoves,

And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!

The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!

Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun

The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:

Long time the manxome foe he sought—

So rested he by the Tumtum tree,

And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,

The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,

Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,

And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through

The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!

He left it dead, and with its head

He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?

Come to my arms, my beamish boy!

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"

He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;

All mimsy were the borogoves,

And the mome raths outgrabe."

I keep photographing myself over and over, compulsively, hoping that one day my shadow will bare the scars of time. And I will be free from the dread of growing old.

When the world stops spinning, maybe I'll be able to tell what's spinning around in my head.

It's easy for me to still the body.. it's not so easy for me to still the mind.

I try various tools..what seems to work is exhaustion.. but that's so tiring.

I used to be able to make a choice and go with it.. make a decision and not think twice. Now so many options.. so many avenues... so many things calling my name.. needing attention.

At what point do you say to hell with it all and give in?
