Like the profound verses sung by Simon and Garfunkel, our souls often echo "I am a rock, I am an island," as we fashion our emotional ramparts to fend off the tempestuous sea of vulnerability. These walls, much like the granite bastions along the shore, bear the weight of countless tides and storms, safeguarding our solitude. Yet, beneath their austere façade, they bear the scars of isolation, for, in protecting ourselves from hurt, we often unwittingly imprison our capacity for connection and the richness of human connection. Just as the sea ceaselessly tugs at the foundations of the high tide wall, so too do our hearts yearn for the chance to lower their defenses and allow the flood of emotions to touch us in the core of who we are.

Nettle Caterpillar or Stinging Nettle Caterpillar is a moth of the Limacodidae family. It is native to China, Taiwan, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Java and Borneo. But is now also established and spreading in Hawaii and Japan.
I know it's heartbreaking..I threw them lots of crumbs and biscuits but could not gain their trust.Hope they have found some afterwards.

The four of them arrive at the bunker. Before going in, Tim grabs Ken's arm. He nodds at Lori and Micah and the two of them already enter the bunker while Robin and Ken wait outside.
Tim: "How are you sure they're legit? This could be a trap. Didn't she just mentioned she was a part of the League of Assassins?"
Ken: "Robin, chill. Don't worry. I know Lori better than anyone else. It's been so long, I need to come clear with her."
Tim: "Hm. Fine, but if anything goes south, we'll take them out. We did it before, we can do it again."
The two of them enter the bunker and they see it's rather empty.
Ken: "This is a solid bunker. Not a lot, but solid.
Micah: "Thanks. My dad build it in case of need. He did a pretty good job, so I decided to make it my own."
Tim: "Where's your dad now?"
Micah: "Arkham, after he couldn't deal with the death of my brother."
Ken walks over to him and puts a hand on his shoulder.
Ken: "I'm sorry to hear that man." And Micah softly smiles.
Ken: "So what's your story, Micah? We've spoken to each other once or twice when we were at school, but we never really got to know each other."
Micah: "Well, there isn't much to tell. I started fighting crime on my own after Batboy, so you, disappeared and I realised this city needed more heroes. Especially after I discovered my brother was part of a gang, and got ultimately killed in the crossfire. My father couldn't cope with it and he was send to Arkham for the friendlier treatment, for people with depression issues. I decided to remodel the bunker and it's sorta my Batcave."
Ken: "How did the two of you started working together?"
Micah: "She actually saved me from a couple of thugs."
Ken: "Really?" Ken turns to Lori with a worried look on his face. "And how did you get the skills to save him?"
Lori: "Well after my father... you know, I went to live on the streets. I couldn't deal with anything anymore. I actually had to kill someone in selfprotection, and after that I knew where to go to find you. I traveled to Nanda Parbat. I got my training, and left to search for you. I returned to Gotham and that's how Micah and I got acquanted."
Tim: "So the League just let you go? Just like that?"
Lori: "You don't know where I had to go through, to make sure I wasn't a part anymore."
Tim: "Enlighten me."
Ken: "Robin!"
Lori: "No. It's fine. We were chased by Lady Shiva herself. She was the one who gave me my freedom back."
Ken: "Shiva did?"
Lori: "Surprisingly. Now enough about me. Tell me everything what happened."
Ken: "From when do you want to know?"
Lori: "That day. The day you were 'killed' by Killer Moth."
Ken: "Well, I made the decision beforehand. Just had to wait for the right opportunity. After that I became Batboy full-time for a year, then I got killed for real. Well 'killed', I was paralysed, but someone healed me, at the cost of my memories. I was used as a weapon, as a toy. Batman saved me however, and managed to recollect my memories, aaand now we're here."
Lori looks at him in silence with tears in her eyes. They embrace and she starts to cry.
Ken: "I'm so sorry. I was selfish, extremely selfish. I should've been here for you. I shouldn't have gotten this stupid idea. I never should've given you all this trauma to deal with, and I'm so sorry."
Lori: "I- I know you're sorry. I know that you were selfish, and you can't imagine how angry I am right now. I'm just... I'm just so extremely happy that you're back."
Ken: "Technically I'm still dead, but I'm going to make it right."
Micah: "How so?"
Ken: "My uncle Bruce knows I'm alive as well-"
Micah: "Yeah no shit, he's Batman."
Ken: "How-?"
Lori: "It was easy to figure out, dumbass. You showed up as Batboy, Batman visited the crime scene personally. Two plus two is four."
Tim: "Shit..."
Lori: "Easy, your secret is safe with us. No way we're going to reveal who Batman really is. We wouldn't like it if anyone would figure out our identities and made it public. But that's not important right now. You were gonna say something?"
Ken: "Y- yeah. Eehm, so. My uncle Bruce is going to hold a pressconference tomorrow about some new technology that is being developed at Wayne Tech, and I'm going to reveal that I'm alive."
Lori: "That's great! Are you sure about it though?"
Ken: "There are lots of things I need to make up for, so that's what I'm going to do. Speaking of making up for things. Where's Mel?"
Micah and Lori take a look at each other.
Ken: "I know he went to travel the world to look for me. Don't worry, I've already gotten that mental breakdown. I'm just wondering if you guys know where he is?"
Micah: "No, sadly not... I'm sorry, but he has gone completely off the grid."
Lori: "Sucks when that happens to you, doesn't it?"
Ken: "Lori..."
Lori: "I'm sorry... It's just so much to take in."
Tim: "How about we all just go home. Let things process. It will be better for all of you."
Micah: "I agree with Robin. Let everything sink in, and we can meet back up tomorrow."
Lori: "I guess that would be the best for all of us."
Ken: "Yeah. Do I see you two at the conference tomorrow?"
Micah: "Yes, of course."
Lori and Ken give each other a hug and she goes to her room as he heads out with Tim.

i usually like the cropped version of the photo, cuz i personally find this a fairly awkward pose.
i just had a swim meet at puxi yesterday and us girls (pudong) got first place! It's this meet called SISAC and it was by far my best meet of the year (:
i PB'ed (personal best) 10 seconds in my 100 back!!! and i won 2 heats aswell! it was an exciting day, and at night, our team went to Super Diner and we watched a few guys eat a supersized burger lol
It's said that if you eat the whole burger within 15 minutes, you get it for free!

(December 8, 1941)
Admiral Yamamoto Isoroku, Commander-in-Chief of the Combined Fleet, believed that victory in the Greater East Asia War hinged on the destruction of the U.S. Pacific Fleet. He formulated a plan whereby aircraft carriers would be used to lauch a surprise attack on Pearl Harbour. A task force commanded by Vice-Admiral Nagumo Chuichi approached Hawaii undetected. The surprise attack succeeded in destroying the U.S. fleet. "
Adjacent to the display about the Pearl Harbour Self-Defensive Strike is a display about the victorious Japanese Liberation of Singapore, which was completed on the 15th of February 1942, just 69 days later. The barbarian war criminal Winston Churchill described the fall of Singapore as "the worst disaster and largest capitulation in British history".
