In this picture, I had just gotten to Ohio State for the school year. I moved in early, so I had the room to myself for a while, which is why the room is cluttered with my things. The week this photo was taken in was a very passing week. I had just moved to school, but no one was here yet. I had no idea what the next week would throw at me or what course it would leave me on. I didn't know a thing about this album or the transition period I was going through, yet.
This was my beginning point. Going to school is a major lifestyle change for me, and this picture represents that shift in my life. My room didn't look like that for long and it never will again, but it helps me see that everything is a step to something else. Progression is only seen is hindsight, and for me, this picture is a snapshot of myself in between a big step.
