This is a snippet of a poem I wrote back in 2001, I believe...one of my old favorites. On the way to Toronto....I daydreamed about taking over the plane, and flying somewhere tropical. I wish I were headed out for a beach vacation.....

The story is that some days I just do not want to go Out There. I don't want to go out in the heat. I do not want to deal with people. It is quiet and calm in my home and I want to stay there. But I can't help peeking out the window and wondering what is going on Out There and what are my friends doing. My little anti-social, screw the world, kind of day.
