Abatement and select demolition is underway at the former St. James United Methodist Church in Waco, Texas. “All select demo had to be performed with care to save original materials all the way down to the screws used in the door hinges,” said Waco GM Mike Daniel. According to the Waco Tribune-Herald the building was approved for placement in the National Register of Historic Places in September 2019. Renovations are in preparation for a restaurant to be placed in the basement, as well as an event space.
