I don't do much processing, but I do quite enjoy selective colour.

A few of these Deptford Pinks are scattered through my yard. Each blossom is only about a centimeter, but they are strong on color.

This picture was done for the "Looking Close... on Friday!" group challenge "Selective Colour Pink." A full color version of the picture is here.

I was going to use this picture for the challenge until I noticed that it was taken before the challenge was announced.

My monitor lizard isn't faring so well during quarantine. Without my office's computer monitor to lounge on, he's losing his color. That is not a healthy pink.

Kudos to this video for instructions on easily isolating a color in Photoshop. Its focus is on red, but it works for any color or combination.

Salvia microphylla

I took several photos of this plant so I could show them to somebody who could tell me what it is, with no intent of ever posting them to Flickr. I tried taking photos of several subjects for this week's select colour pink theme, but nothing was anywhere near as good as this photo.
