SHRILL ALARM CALL, often announces its presence to a observer, and the orange/red legs and bill, gives a easy identification. In winter the numbers are greatly increased from mainland Europe. Redshanks are more exclusively coastal, in addition to estuaries and mudflats. This ringed one was found at Grenham Bay, Birchington, in order to get close, I must confess to getting wet feet................lol.

Eigentlich ein Klassiker aber wenn man den Turm sieht ist es schon sehr beeindruckend wie schief dieser steht. Der Turm begann sich schon zu neigen als der Bau in der 3. Etage war. Darauf hin ruhte der Bau für über 100 Jahre. Erst dann kamen die neuen Baumeister darauf den Turm nicht grade weiter zu bauen sondern in die Bananen Form um der Neigung entgegen zu wirken. Das Ganze Gelände ist sehr sehenswert Basilika, Kathedrale und Turm. Spannend finde ich die vielen Symbole der Kreuzritter die sich hier überall finden.
Actually a classic but when you see the tower it is already very impressive how crooked it stands. The tower began to tilt as the building was on the 3rd floor. The building was then suspended for more than 100 years. Only then did the new builders not continue to build the tower, but into the banana form to counteract the inclination. The whole area is very worth seeing basilica, cathedral and tower. I find the many symbols of the Crusaders that can be found everywhere exciting.

Die sehr langschwänzige, oberseits graue und unterseits intensiv gelbe Stelze besiedelt schnell fließende, meist bewaldete Gewässer und ernährt sich vorwiegend von Insekten und deren Larven.
Ich bin immer wieder erstaunt, was für eine wunderbare Vogelwelt die Rur (ohne h) zeigt. Wasseramseln, Gebirgsstelzen, Gänsesäger, Eisvogel, alles Arten, die man dort regelmäßig sehen kann.

Ein sehr seltener Besucher im Ramsar Gebiet Rieselfeldern Münster. Er hat wohl im schlechten Wetter des Tages die Gelegenheit zum Zwischenstopp auf dem Zug genutzt. Ein glücklicher Moment, ihn zu sehen.
The rare pied avocet in the Ramsar area Rieselfelder Münster. He propably used the bad weather that day for a stop on his migration. A lucky moment to have seen it.

Ein sehr beeindruckendes Gebäude,von Innen und von Außen.
Das 1912 fertiggestellte Gerichtsgebäude am Sievekingplatz der Architekten Lundt & Kallmorgen bildet mit dem Ziviljustizgebäude und dem Strafjustizgebäude das Justizforum am Sievekingplatz und ist Sitz des Hamburgischen Verfassungsgerichts. Die drei Gebäude stehen unter Denkmalschutz.
