When I approached the farm at Obere Walmendinger Alpe, this cow was looking sideways and seeme to have a white head. Then she looked at me and I was surprised by 'her dark side' ;-)

Sometimes you just get carried away, and keep adding and adding and adding. Usually when I do that, the image ends up looking "muddy" so I delete and start over. But I like this one. Originally intended for Fence Friday, so that's a cement fence in the background - three and a half stiles leading into a cement column (the darker area on the right.)

After the snow finally started to shift recently I thought I would pass via the top route. Thankfully ths single road was passable. Noticed the sun starting to rise so grabbed the camera and caught this. The road seeme dto glow a fierce orange made more vivid by the wet surface.

Taken in Helsinki, Finland during last year's trip. They were working on the building in the background - the white area (center) is a large plastic tarp that covered the corner.

Been busy here. About 2 weeks ago, my husband had knee surgery repair (the doctors call it a revision!). It went very well and hubby's recovering quickly, too. Then my brother and his family were here until for their annual July visit. Great fun, but little time for flickr. We have a few more visitors coming this summer, but I should be mostly back for awhile since I'm my hubby's PT transportation for the next 6 weeks.
