I snapped this photo with my Canon Rebel T5. This photo was taken in downtown Sedan, Kansas, population 1,034 (2010). I was on my way to the Pioneer Woman Mercantile in Pawhuska, OK. I thought the American flag flying over a small town was a touching tribute on this Veteran's Day 2018.
A bit of abstract of what (I believe) is 1946 Ford V8 Sedan While the car was truly striking, I suspect this paint job wasn't an option when it rolled off the assembly line...

I liked how this big, American tough-guy muscle car is dwarfed, or practically engulfed by this giant trumpet vine bush (a.k.a. Angel's Trumpet). And how the flowers seem to femininize the scene with their modest, almost mournful way of hanging with their faces cast downward. (Two other words that came to mind: limp, flaccid.) I also liked the riot of color with the green and the yellow and the red and the pink -- and how the pink building in the background, once again, introduces a 'feminine' element in contrast to the deep red meaty hunk of a car. What's more, in the next frame I shot, the figure walking by in the background (a man) is revealed to be carrying a matching pink paper shopping bag; I might have chosen that frame, except I preferred his posture and my composition in this shot.

Lyman Car Show 2023. One great thing about this event is that cars aren't packed in, allowing for good photo opportunities. This one appears to have whitewalls of appropriate width.
The twelfth generation of the Toyota Corolla is on the market since 2019. It's available in sedan form too, but that model is quite rare over here. This one is from the Poprad district in Slovakia.

Part of Sensual business series, set or album or maybe, why not, part of Food sensitivity recipes for chefs without Michelin/es, also.

One of the best looking cars being made right now, and its a sedan. Found it behind a doctors office.

The never ending new releases of Matchbox Moving Parts never fails to delight even if they aren't actually officially available here in the UK. A truly wonderful selection of classic vehicles from around the World as well as modern metal too, all having some form of opening features and sensibly priced as they aren't considered "premium" releases.
What an absolute joy their new 1957 Ford Country Sedan is, a perfect alternative to their basic mainline Custom 500 which screams 50's Americana. A pleasing vibrant colour combination plus no skimping on the chrome either!

Originally built for Mr Schwanefeldt by mason Nicolai. It was intended as a guest house for the railway passengers. When the first train arrived in 1919 the station was located further out of the town than anticipated.
It has had many uses - Zerner's Butcher Shop being a more recent one.
Now a private residence.
